SOSAD and others... The idea of the post was not to humiliate, nor punish, etc. but merely to try to entertain and maybe provide some information in such a way as to get people thinking about the problem in a more objective 'fact-based' way perhaps... that's all. I hope a few people learned a new thing or two.

And, in all fairness, there are at least a couple questions, that would probably warrant a discussion on the validity or correctness of the answers I posted.
I basically extracted the questions from many news stories and notes I had collected over that last 1.5 years or so on the subject. The basic idea being: "the more information we possess, the better off we are".

Oh, and finally, I do realize there were some very tricky questions in the above - had to include a couple 'gotchas' to keep the scores from being 100% - you know, that teachers 'grade on the curve thing'.

Thanks for putting this together Professor PhredE. I can tell you spent time on this. I would have liked to tackle it, but I had overdue yard work to do (my excuse ).
