Just Now On MSNBC
Senators are meeting behind closed doors trying to find a way to strengthen the enforcement part of the Grand Compromise along with Bush's request for an emergency spending bill for immediate border security to make this immigration bill more palatable to the American people to see if they can get this thing back on the floor.
They are also talking about having stiff penalities for document fraud, and a variety of other measures which they didn't mention yet.RIP TinybobIdaho -- May God smile upon you in his domain forevermore.

Sounds like a new angle on spin to see if they can pull the wool over our eyes so they can pass their shamnesty plan.

I'm thinking they may agree to accept some of the amendments they voted down before, but all this doesn't mean anything if they can't get the majority of the Senators they need to go along with this. So far, they don't have that.

This amnesty bill is like 'The Night of the Living Dead'. They are simply going to keep bringing it back again and again in an attempt to bludgeon us into submission.

We need you to fill these offices with 'NO COMPROMISE' calls! Fill the airwaves blasting Bush! Bring his approval numbers down!
The lower you bring his numbers with calls to talk radio, the less chance he has of persuading these Senators to do the wrong thing!
Scramble the jets!

Remember, this amnesty bill is vital for Bush to go ahead with the Mexican truck thing and to complete his North American Union. I just talked to Representative Bill Sali's office and there is a resolution in committe to stop the trucks, but the resolution seems to be stalled.
H.CON.RES.40
The Chairman oo that Committee is James Oberston
Sali's office is sending me all this skinny on this resolution but is sending it snail mail as there is too much involved to email. You know what that means. Slow, slow, slow.
Anyone have any suggestions how to stop this truck thing other than bombarding the White House, because the staffer said it will probably go into effect and there's not much we can do about it.RIP TinybobIdaho -- May God smile upon you in his domain forevermore.
