President Obama chooses Judge Sonia Sotomayor for the Supreme Court.

I take her remarks below as racists and she sounds more like a La Raza pro-latina activist than a person who is suppose to be colorblind and make rulings based on the law.

Judge Sonia Sotomayor, President Obama's pick to become the newest Supreme Court justice, is on the record with some controversial remarks about 'diversity,' 'judicial activism' and female judges vs. male judges.

For example, the New York Times reported that in 2001, at the annual Judge Mario G. Olmos Law and Cultural Diversity Lecture, Sotomayor had this to say:

“I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences [color=red][b]would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn’t lived that life.â€

All of this race crap in America is totally OUT OF CONTROL!!! Notice how that that is all that this is about, not qualifications, but RACE makes the Qualifications?! I feel like this choice is a total mistake and I also believe that were going to see some major controversy in the future from off hand race oriented slant in out courts. I'm beside Myself!

This country is so backwards right now its laughable.

I just called and found out the next step (after the hearings) is for the Senate Judiary Committee to vote on her and then all the Senators will vote on her (the House doesn't get a say at all).

I'm very disgusted with the appointment of Sotomayor. I have known too many people like her who play the race card to get what they want in this society. This isn't surprising that Obama choose her.

Wow, I couldn't believe she said that. Now we know what we are in for.

This idiot states that latina women are far wiser at making decisions than white men. Is that why so many latinas are pregnant by the time they reach 14 and are dependent on welfare, WIC, food stamps, etc., with 8 illiterate, illegitimate children by the time they are adults?

Make no mistake..she will be biased. Remember what La Raza's meaning is. Can anyone find out if she belongs to La Raza? I went to that crapy website and didn't find anything related to their membership.
