Wednesday on Fox News‏ Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” White House aide Kellyanne Conway said President Donald Trump had made it very clear there would be “no DACA without funding for the wall.”


Conway said, “This president won in part on taking a tough stand against illegal immigrants just coming over the border.”


She continued, “People want to know that our borders are secure, and this president has a 70-point immigration plan. I know people on the left want to boil it down to DACA and DACA alone. He put out a 70-point immigration plan. Read it. it is there for you to see and transparent.”


She added, “The president has made very clear, and he hasn’t wavered that there is no DACA without funding for the wall. The wall is to be built. He made that promise. It has begun and very important for folks to see tangibly that we are getting tougher on border security. The president has also made very clear his immigration vision includes an end to chain migration, an end to the visa lottery program and more ICA agents, immigration and border patrol agents at the border so that the men and women there who bravely do their work every day have more support and resources. He has talked about a merit-based immigration system.

So it’s a very comprehensive plan that people should look at and not boil it down to just DACA. Democrats know how he feels about this.”

The wall can wait. We need to get chain migration stopped, E Verify started and visa lottery stopped. Also those T and U visas should be stopped.

And then get busy enforcing the laws that exists--such as expelling visa overstays and fraudulent visas. These are just departmental decisions, having nothing to do with Congress' policies.

Any other major programs I left out?

But we want to always demand the wall because that is the one the Dems truly don't want. That's the one that shuts down their owners, the drug cartels behind illegal immigration.

A wall will not matter if DACA illegals get Amnesty and give Democrats control of the USA forevermore.

Who knows what backroom bargaining is going on.Things like ending chain migration and having E Verify are strictly policy changes, paperwork and government inspection. The purpose of a border wall can be done by other means.

You're talking about a constitutional change. Unless we could have a Supreme Court ruling similar to what the Dominican Republic did. Maybe there have been some similar rulings in other countries with birthright citizenship. I'm sure these provisions were never intended for wholesale exploitation.

All for what Captainron highlighted. We also must end birthright citizenship (Beezer) through a clarification or legislation.

All for the wall. However, there will be lawsuits from individuals, ranchers, environmental groups, foreign governments to stop action on the wall. We have seen what will happen from the travel ban. Liberal judges and corrupt politicians will intervene to stop progress.

Drug cartels are using drones. Our government could man the border, use technology to effectively stop illegal alien crossers. It doesn't make sense why so many are getting in to the United States.

Mexico should be told that monies will no longer go to them unless they stop the flow of people illegally crossing our border. Attach fees to remittances.

Illegal aliens will vote democrat. The millennials are radicals. Their children will follow.

No DACA amnesty.
