I went to my Senator's office on Monday. The people I spoke with were nice but I didn't appreciate the woman who came from the back room and spoke Spanish to the person we were speaking to. I think they got Mel Martinez on their side as many Cubans are divided on the immigration issue.

Called Dole today & didn't get the usual jerk. The guy was very nice
& I thanked him profusely for the senator editorial & hoped she could
vote no on cloture.

Called Burr's office a couple of times & got the voice mail.
