LA RAZA WORRIED ABOUT CUTS TO HANDOUTS FOR ANCHOR BABIES
La Raza is worried that illegal aliens may have to actually start paying for their own anchor babies' food instead of the American taxpayer!

Stop Extreme Cuts to the WIC Program
The Latino community’s access to WIC, the Special Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program for Women, Infants, and Children, is under immediate threat. The House of Representatives’ Appropriations Committee has voted to cut WIC funding by nearly $650 million, which will result in up to 350,000 mothers, infants, and children falling off the program. Given that Latinos make up two-fifths (42%) of all program participants, the Hispanic community is expected to be among the hardest hit.
WIC has been an essential nutrition assistance program for Latinos and has long been proven to prevent many of the costly conditions that result from hunger and malnutrition. In fact, nearly nine out of ten Latino infants born in the United States participated in WIC in 2008. This program has been especially important for Hispanic expectant mothers, who are less likely to have access to prenatal care and medical information.
Hispanic families became the hungriest families in 2008, and Latino children now make up nearly 40% of all children living with hunger in the U.S. The last thing we need is to take food out of the mouths of vulnerable mothers, babies, and young children.
The full House will have a chance to reject these cuts.

So nine out of ten Latino babies born were on the WIC program? Why do they continue to have babies they can't afford to feed on their own? I would be willing to bet that many of them were born to illegal alien mothers also. Our tax dollars at work! When will this madness end?

06-13-2011, 11:42 PM #4Latinos, even when you include illegal aliens, make up what? 15-20% of the whole U.S. population? but 42% of WIC program recipients. WOW, worse than I thought.Given that Latinos make up two-fifths (42%) of all program participants, the Hispanic community is expected to be among the hardest hit.
What a bind for LaRaza. On the one hand they usually try to deny illegal aliens or their anchor babies receive a high proportion of our welfare programs. But now that there is talk of cutting those programs, LaRaza comes out to protest the cuts by using the race card, thereby admitting The Race uses a higher proportion. So many tall tales to tell, sometimes one just contradicts the other.<div>Number*U.S. military*in S.Korea to protect their border with N.Korea: 28,000. 06-14-2011, 05:43 AM #5I've stood in line behind women talking about having another anchor so they can "up the ante"! They didn't know I understood what they were saying, and I did ask why have children you can't support yourself? They shut right up and told me to mind my own business... I bluntly said I am a taxpayer and YOU sucking up services you don't deserve IS my business!

I recall a handful of years ago study was done that had black Americans almost tied neck and neck for participation in welfare vs caucasians. However the black community was aprox 19% of the population while caucasians close to 60% of the population. I also recall numerous news articles which used half the numbers to say welfare is evenly split when in reality any person who graduated 3rd grade math could tell you by the numbers blacks were twice as likely as whites to be on welfare.

06-14-2011, 10:00 AM #8Many contributors to this, but due in part to the nanny state and "you owe entitlement" attitude that has been ground into their brains over time; and whites put up with because white guilt was foisted upon them.
