And Nevada has over 200,000 illegal aliens

We also have a hispanic Gov elect who talks tough but we'll see

The police and mayor love illegals , But we'll see

Many of us are getting DMV notices now to either confirm and validate our
auto insurance or face a $250 re in statement fees , while illegals drive with impunity , the cops could care less

While the construction work has dried up here , they still blight our neighborhoods , turn to crime and drain services that should be going to citizens

I'm just hoping the new GOP house lives up to their promises so we can
retake the senate and presidency with people that realize that this invasion from mexico is the worse problem this country has ever faced.

If NV is like CA they will just have a half dozen anchor babies and live off their benefits.

A report out today states that 1 in 4 babies in Nevada is to a non citizen

We are only a few years away here from Californication or mexification

It won't be long until other states follow , they are slowly covering this country

We have very very few short years to get this taken care of or it will be way to late.

This country put a man on the moon , then the libs and progressives started to take over

    What have we done since?

I agree....this invasion has been active for the past twenty years and we’re rapidly reaching the point now of no return, If significant legislation is not passed on our behalf, (like excluding anchor babies from birthright citizenship), we may never be fully able to recover from this invasion.

Time is on the side of illegal invaders and they know it. They don't need any legislation passed (such as amnesty) because while they wait, hundreds of thousands of invaders continue to breach our borders and produce anchor spawn.

Sooner rather than later, they will no longer have to demand anything; they will simply just take it through sheer numbers. Already many cities across this nation boast of hispanic populations having reached 20-30% in just a few short years. What they don’t tell you that it’s in large part due to illegal immigration.

    So when is enough enough?

Ended Communism in Europe and China thanks to Reagan, but you are right everything besides that has been downhill, a slide into Globalist/Socialist oblivion.

My dollar will stay with me. I gave up TV 25 yrs ago, McDonalds about a year ago, Chiquita,...as of today, and to add Vegas as a no spend zone should not be so hard.

Roundabout.....That is fine the traffic here is unreal anyways and a whole dollar won't mean to much to our economy.... As far as giving up things that will come soon enough. The way things are going in this Country not just in Nevada, lots of people won't be enjoying themselves very much in the future.

Perhaps some light on the plight of the northern Nevada ranchers and farmers and their battle to keep Vegas from stealing more of their water rights.? Cannot remember just what valley.

The power brokers got Reid in do you think he will work for the rural area against his big business buddies in the water rights issue in White Pine County, Armagosa Valley or any where else ??????...Money talks bull---t walks....

But why your so interested in the plight is beyond me since you don't live here or plan on visiting, but here is some information for you. I am sure you can do a search on your own about the water fight.
Any suggestions on how I can be of help concerning Nevada, Vegas and the plight of the political machinery that has strangled the state from the seat of Vegas,....for the most part, then by all means, I am all ears. I've donated twice to the Angle campaign, hope you don't mind, as you are right, I do not live in Nevada. As for the travel or spend.......? Even have a standing offer for Northern Nevada,....it is tempting, as I do enjoy all that Nevada has to offer,....minus the political machinery.

To make an omelet you have to break some eggs.

    then,

The purpose of my writing this 3 part series on the water issues in Nevada was to bring awareness to the public on the significant impact this pipeline will have on rural Nevada. As someone who enjoys driving around this state, I would hate to see our beautiful desert and lush ranch-lands destroyed by a pipeline. While I do come from the big city, as a child my Grandfather took me on trips all around rural Nevada. I spent many summers in Ely, Elko, and Lake Tahoe, and learned at a young age to respect our states rural lands and ranching communities. It is my hope that if there truly is an alternative to building this pipeline, we should entertain it. Nevada is a wonderful, beautiful, and serene place–we should respect agriculture, and Ranchers in our state…even someone like me from the big city knows that!
As for the water plight, the author of your article shares my thunder. Why not bring it in to the light? Nevada is but one state with water rights issues. The impact is always the same. Rob from Peter to pay Paul. Poor Peter.

As for ideas on helping us here in Nevada. Unless you can make the political machinery age faster I have not a clue. Unless you can make the Casinos, Unions, and Government employers really use E-verify and hire legal residents, I haven't a clue. Since the majority of residents legal and other wise work in those places there is your answer of how Reid got in. Money talks all the way around.

As for water rights...well maybe if we get more water from Lake Mead and or the Dam filtering down from the Colorado River it wouldn't be a problem. We retain very little of that at least for here in Vegas...Our allocation is still set to the old demographics. We still rely on a lot of well water and underground aquifers here. I can honestly say I never really got into understanding to much of that there are too many other issues that keep coming up here that has my attention.
