If I may, I'd like to share this letter I recieved today.

Dear Friends,

The other side of the immigration issue has had a good couple days of
national media. Organizers have learned from past mistakes and now have
marchers carrying American flags.

I asked a new Spanish-speaking member of Team America to attend the
rally
in Washington and report on what he saw. He noted that the vast
majority
of the demonstrators did not speak English. All of the speeches were
given in Spanish or translated. And, after asking many people “Hablas
ingles?” only a few responded “yes.” For his complete report and
pictures, please visit http://www.teamamericapac.org/account.htm

However, we too have had a significant development. This weekend,
House
Majority Leader John Boehner stated categorically that he is “for
securing
the borders and enforcing the laws. Until we do that, if you try to
create a guest-worker program, all you're doing is inviting more
illegal
immigration." He warned the Senate that the House supports an
enforcement-only bill and won’t permit a guest worker amnesty provision
to
become law. Congressman Boehner is doing what the American people have
asked. If he will join Congressman Sensenbrenner and hold this line,
we
can stop amnesty from becoming law in the House.

I am off to San Antonio to speak to several hundred students, some of
whom
I understand have taken to the streets about this critical issue. I
will
report back to you upon my return. In the meantime, I ask you to stay
on
the phones; keep calling your Senators and Congressmen. No bill came
out
of the Senate because calls and visits unnerved Republicans and they
failed to come to a consensus; we must keep pressure on them or the
demonstrations and great coverage the illegals get from our media could
turn the tide against us. When the Senate returns in two weeks, they
plan
to take up the issue of illegal immigration again. We must not let the
protest of illegals speak louder than Americans.

Keep up the hard work! Your phone calls are working!

Sincerely,

Bay
