Thread: Laura Ingraham: Republicans must unite (just like they did with Kavanaugh) over lawle

I for one am very upset and disappointed in my party (Republican). If we stood together as strongly as the Democrats seem to stand against us, we would be winning on these immigration issues. However, as things stand we've got too many Chamber of Commerce owned cheap labor supporters sitting in the House and Senate under the Republican umbrella, which is forcing us to push against each other. The current Speaker of the House, Paul Ryan, is one such cheap labor advocate. In a party divided, we'll never accomplish our primary goals on immigration because the Democrats will continue to stand against us in unison. It's unfortunate but the RINO's need to go!

Republican Party’s approval rating at its highest in 7 years

The Republican Party’s approval rating among Americans has risen to its highest level in more than seven years.

Some 45 percent of Americans have a favorable view of the GOP, compared with just 36 percent one year ago, according to new data compiled by Gallup.

The approval rating for Republicans is at its highest level since January 2011, when 47 percent of Americans had a positive view of the party.

In comparison, the Democratic Party had a 44 percent approval rating, the same as last year.

The GOP had higher approval ratings in just one other Gallup poll in the past decade.

After the midterm elections in November 2014, the GOP had an approval rating of 42 percent, compared with 36 for Democrats.

And that was before the Kavanaugh Confirmation Vote, Pastor Brunson released from prison by Turkey, the 3 country USMCA trade agreement with Mexico and Canada was signed, Pastor Brunson released by Turkey, and before many other important bills were signed such as the Lower Drug Prices Acts, the Music Modernization Act, and the new and improved Save Our Seas Act were signed, and a lot of other positive developments. So, it looks really good for Republicans right now based on our track record of taking care of business and our people. There's lots more to do and fix, and MORE REPUBLICANS are needed to achieve these goals through legislation.

And what's your point? I'm talking about my party on immigration/border security, not trade agreements, Supreme Court appointments, or any of the other things you brought up.

With this Caravan at 4,000 on their way to INVADE our country...we are all angry and fed up with this!

It is interior enforcement that is desperately needed to help so many Americans who have lost their businesses and careers to the scourge of illegal immigration. While the economy is improving for some, Americans in many fields, particularly in the trades, are barely hanging on, no longer able to compete with the illegal aliens. It seems as if many Republican politicians are beholden to their illegal alien loving donors, and the "forgotten" men and women will remain forgotten as long as illegal aliens are allowed to live and thrive in the USA.
