    Conservative Immigration Reform Bill

It is time that ALIPACers develop a Reform Bill based on stopping illegal immigration. Please post your ideas or recommend laws that will end illegal immigration and make visa holders obey the terms of their visas.

    1. Stop birthright citizenship to any child who does not have at least one parent of legal status or U.S. citizenship
    2. Make employment of illegal aliens a FELONY, which can be enforced at local, state, and national levels.
    3. Document fraud, or use of a social security number which does not belong to you is a felony.
    4. Require the IRS to notify taxpayers when their Social Security number is being used in more than one location. Allow ID Theft victims to bring charges and sue for ID theft.
    5. Stop banks from accepting ITIN papers as proof of ID.

(These are a few I thought of--I know there are more ideas out there)
    Please add yours.

Excellent idea -- Support immigration reform

    Here're a few more.

    6. Make knowlingly entering the country illegally a felony.

    7. Make overstaying a visa by more than 90 days a felony.

    8. Properly fund the processing of visas so that people's status can be kept up to date.

    9. Deny federal assistance to "sanctuary" cities.

    10. Make assisting anyone to enter or remain in the country illegally a crime.

    one more

    11. Require all job descriptions to be posted one a web site before becoming eligible for being filled by H1B visa holders so that Americans may apply for them first.

    Conservative

    12. Repeal law requiring free education for illegal immigrant children. ( The Supreme Court Ruling included a clause for repeal if the number of children became a burden to taxpayers !) Can we get any laywers out there to help with this?

    13. Make it a felony for any state elected official who aids and abett illegal aliens in any way shape or form to remain in this country illegally, as in passing laws that gives them privledges like drivers licenses, in-state tuition. etc.

Felony for any law enforement official to ignore the status of an illegal alien....their job is to enforce the laws .

convict Janet Napolitano for aiding and abetting illegal aliens and fire her for not doing her job!

Go after the churches for aiding and abetting....they should be encourging these people to go home, not helping them stay.

Of course the laws are already there for aiding and abetting but is being ignored..

    Conservative Immigration Reforms

    1) Increase "Employment Based" immigration quotas.

These quotas come into place after a company has advertised a job, and found no US Citizens qualified for the position. Currently, under the EB-3 (Skilled and Professional), the backlog is 7 years...after the company has established that there are no qualified Americans for the job.

This would curb H-1B abuse, as the Labor Certification requirements are much stricter than the Labor Condition Application that is required under the H-1B

    2) Eliminate the "Diversity Visa" category. This is just a lottery to get in without establishing any benefit to society

    3) Clear and Eliminate some "Family Class" visas. The current estimate for the 4th Preference for Family immigration (brothers or sisters of US Citizens) is 30 years. They should grant status to everyone in this category and then prohibit new applications thereunder (so, let those who have filed already in good faith, but eliminate the category)[/b]

Might as well go for the gusto...

    1) Make English the official language of all publicly-funded institutions and organizations.

    2) Repeal the fourteenth amendment of the Constitution.

    3) Impose a fifteen year moratorium on all forms of legal immigration.

    4) Define "born under American jurisdiction" as having one of two parents who are legal American citizens at the time of birth, which becomes a standard applied to all Americans currently living in the country and defines one's current legal status.

This has zero to do with immigration.

So, you support states being able to impose bans on firearms, regardless of how arbitrary, and also permitting states to restrict freedom of speech?

So you support punishing people who are doing things right in order to get back at lawbreakers. Would you support punishing homeowners whose houses are broken into?

Why do that? You've already repealed the 14th, so this phrase is now meaningless.

What if you had two people from Fictionlandia. The laws of Fictionlandia say that only those born in Fictionlandia are citizens thereof, regardless of their parents. Those two people have a child in the US. Under your proposal, because neither of them are US Citizens, their child is not a US Citizen. Because the child was not born in Fictionlandia, said child is not a citizen there either. The child is a "stateless person" and has no right to citizenship anywhere. What would you propose to do with said child?

First off it shouldn't become our problem. We can't help what citizenship rules there are in other countries. We shouldn't have to make special rules to accomodate another country's citizens here illegally who give birth on our soil. The parent's of the child in question could apply for citizenship on behalf of their child in their own homeland.

Where did you get that the parents were here illegally? They were here as lawful immigrants. Yet your proposal would have the child thrown into the sea, because that child is not legally entitled to live anywhere (remember you're proposing banning all legal immigration, so the child would not be able to live here as an immigrant)
