let forgive our own
I agree... I work in a prison. A lot of guys are there for auto theft, small amounts of drugs, child support evasion and other non violent crimes or crimes involving under 5000$. Why can't we forgive our own people? What about the kids who need their daddys? Our leaders have no problem feeling sorry for Illegal invaders and their kids but have no heart at all when it comes to the small time criminals in prison. Illegal invaders steal a lot more than a car thief. They steal that much alone in one trip to the emergency room for delivering a baby or sending their kids to public school. Of couse, I don't really think we should release convicts from prison. I'm just trying to make a point about how stupid things have gotten

I understand the point you are trying to make. But to me, A crime is a crime....no matter who commits it. However I'm sure the prison conditions would be better and less crowded without the 30% of illegal alien population paid for by U.S. taxpayers. And maybe some legal citizens would not be committing certain crimes if we didn't have illegal aliens here driving down wages making lower and middle class incomes less substantial.

Law enforcement is too busy stopping housewives for seat belt violations to concern themselves with illegals, I know, I got one of those tickets. Stopped and treated like a criminal for not wearing a seat belt, while the illegals just buzzed by me in their cars.

Maxwellmason, I agree with you. It seems they've gone overboard on certain things. Alot of the businesses have made things crimes that aren't or better said...pushed the limit. Company theft for taking a piece of pizza that was left in the breakroom? Theft for taking a blouse out of the store to match with a skirt on the sidewalk sale, even when you get a salespersons approval? Charged with theft when you give a refund to someone who gave you a phony drivers license? To name a few. These were examples of people who were charged and didn't have the money to get a lawyer and were told by the DA to plea no-contest since it would cost alot more to fight it than to pay the fine, do community service, etc. So, they did. Now all minor misdemenors. But now questions on applications don't say have you been convicted. It now includes charged. Having 2 asprins is not the same as having illegal drugs, but it is one in the same with zero tolerence. And they want to give amnesty to these people who just by being here have done worse and that isn't even including forgery, false documents, and all the rest. It's not fair when they randomly change the rules and you don't have the financial means to fight it.
