Thread: Let's Not Forget About The H2A Visa Debacle

A week or so ago, Bush signed an order to allow an unlimited number of H2A Visa holders to come into this country, with no restrictions for the employer to offer these jobs first to the American worker. Also, now employers are allowed to lower the wages and drop the benefits to the worker. This is an AMNESTY, pure and simple. This order goes into effect 2 days before Obama gets sworn in. The only way this order can be reversed is for Congress to do it. After the holidays when Congress comes back, I believe we are going to tackle this sneaky little act our President pulled, and get Congress to do their job. I just wanted to remind everyone about it so you know to keep checking in.

This visa will do to the working class and working poor what the H-1B does to white collar workers. The last thing we need when our people - at all skill and educational levels - are desperately trying to find work.

What this ridiculous order does is make all the illegal aliens legal. All they have to is apply for these UNLIMITED visas, work a day or two in the Ag jobs, and then they are declared to being here legally.

Exactly. When have you ever heard of someone here on an H visa being picked up for overstay - never, that's when.
