    1. MYTH: The border security and employer enforcement triggers can be waived. It has been asserted that the bill contains the following language: “b) Subsection (a) of this section shall apply only if the President certifies within 180 days of enactment that the border security and other measures described in such subsection can be completed within 18 months of enactment, subject to the necessary appropriations.â€

    I don't know if anyone else here has been following the senate stuff in the last day or two (and, to be honest, my monitoring has not been totally complete...) but... I have not noticed him speaking on the floor pushing the secret shamnesty bill. Maybe he's feeling enough heat to quietly settle into the background....(?)

    I have been watching it and tivoing it intently and I have not seen him in several debating days. I think they are keeping him in the shadows right now because he is divisive. He has however been making the media rounds. I saw him debating against Lou Dobbs today. Lou cleaned his clock!
