As far as I know, the only ones who weren't defeated or aren't retiring are Illeana Ros-Lehtinen, Mario Diaz-Balart, and Mike Castle. And I can't imagine Castle staying much longer in Congress-if he does he should be primaried again by someone like Christine O'Donnell, IMO. My choice would be Pete DuPont, but I doubt he'll jump into a race against that bozo.

What do you expect from the 3 Cubans from Florida. In fact 2 of the 3 are Castro's nephews. They look at illegals as fellow hispanics and if you are a Cuban who doesn't they look down on you. In South Florida we have alot of illegal South Americans especially Colombians who overstayed visas. If you know anything about Miami in the 80's that explains the Cuban Colombian friendship.

Hopefully they didn't "sink" our chances to defeat Amnesty. Many in their own party are saying NO.

The only congressmen who are returning are Ros-Lehtinen-who's chairing the House Foreign Relations Committee-Mario Diaz Balart, and Mike Castle.

The first two are known for supporting the hispanic cause. Mario is Lincoln's brother which pushed for the Dream Act and got visas for the Gomez brothers so they would not get deported along with the parents and grandmother.

Yeah, the Diaz-Balarts are big powerbrokers in Miami, and yes, Lehtinin is related to the Castros. I don't see what can be done about them, unless there's some anti-amnesty Hispanic Republican in the district I don't know about.
