I wonder if there is a law that would allow us to go after advocacy groups like La Raza? If we can take out those support structures, we can turn a political machine into a bunch of disorganized day laborers. Target their advocacy system and the whole framework collapses. I've always wanted to use ACLU-type tactics against the ACLU and their quisling friends.any employer who hires 10 or more illegal aliens is guilty of aiding and abetting criminals which is a felony"We have decided man doesn't need a backbone any more; to have one is old-fashioned. Someday we're going to slip it back on." - William Faulkner

Good for you Tiny. Our people in CA pretty much just patronize us. I wonder what would happen if the nation starting boycotting CA wines?

Sorry about the delay in responding. I've been popping in and out while I do some research.
Ok, Populist, I will keep everyone informed. I got to talk to the Senator because he was the one to answer the phone. Idaho state legislators are in recess until January and are working out of their homes. Good time to catch them. I think state elected officials are more grassroots than U.S. elected officials and are more willing to talk to the citizens of their state. I actually felt bad after I realized he was on my side, because I started right off by saying, "I don't know if you're aware of this, but . . . " I guess I got hardened by fighting the U.S. sellouts. No harm done, though. I think he likes me now.

That's incredible. I'm amazed and dazzled that Waukegan's name is being used in different conversations around the country. Thanks for sharing that and let us know what happens!

Will do, FedUp. I don't know what kind of legislation Senator Goedde can come up with, but maybe it could help other states, too. Can 287 (g) go statewide? Does anyone know?

So let's start a boycott of California wines. We can spread the word in 100's of blogs. We can do it through sending emails to everyone in our address books. Notify radio talk show hosts and ask them to spread the word. WHY NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes.................states can join 287g.
287(g) Participants
In 2002, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), entered into the first agreement under Section 287(g). Thirty-five law enforcement officers, consisting of FDLE agents and state and local officers, participated in the training program. After completion of the training program, they were assigned to seven Regional Domestic Security Task Force locations throughout Florida.
In November 2003, ICE and the Alabama Department of Public Safety (ALDPS) signed an MOA to provide immigration authority to 21 Alabama state troopers. These state troopers also received extensive training in immigration and nationality law and procedures and now have the authority to determine whether or not an individual is an illegal alien and can be removed from the U.S. in addition to their normal duties.
In November, 2005, the Arizona Department of Corrections (ADC) began processing alien inmates at their Intake Center as part of the 287(G) program. By processing aliens who met the criteria for early release and turning them over to ICE for removal, the ADC has realized a cost savings of $2,985,655 and a savings of 53,135 bed days.
For more information on Section 287(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, please visit the FAQ page or you may request an information packet via the Section 287g form.

I can't believe he anwsered the phone at home. I wouldn't even anwser a un identified caller ID. I wait for the machine to find who it was first, then decide if It is someone I want to talk to. Usally it is not.

Skipp, our state Senators are working from their homes until they go back into session in Jamuary. Although I, too was surprised Senator Goedde answered himself. This will be so great if I can get him to introduce 287 (g) for the entire state of Idaho. Although it would put Senator Craig into a tizzy. He likes all those illegals down in the southern part of the state.
