Lou Dobbs for president?
Lou Dobbs for president?
Could CNN anchor Lou Dobbs be this presidential election’s Ross Perot?
John Fund, a columnist for The Wall Street Journal, explores the possibility in a commentary posted today on the Journal’s website.
“Friends of Mr. Dobbs say he is seriously contemplating a race for the first time, although it’s still unlikely,â€Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

The side that breaks ranks and runs a third party candidate virtually assures a victory for the opposition.

There certainly are a lot of rumblings, aren't there? I am almost done with reading his latest book, Independents Day. Have you picked up a copy zeezil? In fact I have about 5 pages to go......the climax......will he give me an idea in these last few pages? Well, from the book I know that at very least Lou wants to influence the presidential election. He certainly has the power to do that. His popularity is at an all time high. He really does not endorse anyone from either party. I think that if he does not run, he will push a Third Party candidate into the picture, and, if not endorse, at least promote the positives of the independent/Third Party candidate.
If he does run, he has my vote. Simple as that.Serve Bush with his letter of resignation.
See you at the signing!!

I wonder if this is why he is now touring throughout the country with his book??
I thought that it was interesting on his show last week........He said something that made me think that he currently is a supporter of Ron Paul."We call things racism just to get attention. We reduce complicated problems to racism, not because it is racism, but because it works." --- Alfredo Gutierrez, political consultant.

He was asked who he liked in the presidential primaries. He mentioned Paul, but he also mentioned Edwards. From what I gathered he is as much likely to support Edwards as he is to support Paul, but IMO he will support neither."The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing" ** Edmund Burke**

He would NO WAY support Edwards now-----after hearing him say that he would push for amnesty for the illegals during the debate tonight."We call things racism just to get attention.
