Louie Gohmert Launching Conservative PAC - Defend TEA Party Against Establishment GOP

Louie Gohmert Launching Conservative PAC to Defend TEA Party & Conservatives Against the Establishment GOP

    Posted on February 19, 2014 by BMartin1776

Gohmert won’t agree with Cavuto but there is in fact a civil war within the GOP and We the People welcome it! We are tired of establishment republicans (progressives) promising to stop the regime but do nothing making one excuse after another. Instead they ask for more money and to be re-elected because they promise to make big changes and get things done. Meanwhile they are going after conservative republicans like Gohmert, Cruz, Paul and Lee.
Like Gohmert explains the establishment says we got to support McCain and look what happened, then they forced Romney on us, we supported him only to have him be way too nice and blink when obama’s jugular was exposed during the debates. Romney also had a chance to capitalize off of the poor response on Hurricane Sandy but he dropped the ball under the advice of the establishment consultants (Karl Rove types) and GOP. No sorry we are done with the lot of you and I hope Louie’s PAC is successful in putting an end to the tyranny progressives have us under.

Gohmert Launches PAC To Battle Fellow Republicans

February 20, 2014 by Sam Rolley

    SPECIAL
Representative Louie Gohmert’s launched GOH Conservative PAC, designed to defend “conservative Republicans from the attacks that come from the mainstream.”

The launch of Representative Louie Gohmert’s (R-Texas) new GOH Conservative PAC, designed to defend “conservative Republicans from the attacks that come from the mainstream,” is the latest indicator of deepening fractures within the GOP that could eventually break the party apart.
Gohmert said that his PAC will give conservative Republicans the resources needed to fight back against attacks from establishment members of their own party.
“That’s been a problem, we’ve seen in some races, where we’ve had leadership come and play and there was no counterbalance. So I’m going to do something about it,” he told The Daily Caller.
The lawmaker said that his pack will serve as the House’s version of the Senate Conservative Fund, which recently got involved in the lower chamber in trying to kick House Speaker John Boehner out of his leadership position.
“The inspiration was from Jim DeMint, when he was in the Senate and decided to start a conservative fund,” Gohmert said in a statement. “The problem Congressmen run into, and Senators, is you’re trying to stand up and do the right thing and then you’re told, ‘the leaders of our party are the ones that raise you the money and help you out in your next campaign’. They tell you that regardless of what you think you should do, you need to help out the team.”
But as mainstream Republicans continue in efforts to marginalize the conservative and Tea Party voices within the GOP, Gohmert said that conservatives in the Party must fight back.
“There’s a war against the tea party. There’s a war against conservatives, we’re told. If somebody declares war on me I’m not just going to lie down and take it. I’m going to fight,” Gohmert told TheDC. ”You’ve got to have money to fight opposition. The leaders in the party raise money so that [makes congressmen] feel they have to stay close to them. If we raise money on our own we can take a stand.”
On its website, GOH PAC lists its primary policy initiatives as follows:
Re-establish National Security and Defense Standards America’s national security and national defense apparatus has been seriously compromised, at home and abroad, by crippling political correctness and partisan agendas that must be ended at once.
Balance the Budget Congress must cut spending. Zero Base-Line Budgets and No Debt Ceiling Raises are a good start. GOH PAC supports cutting spending, passage of a constitutional amendment to balance the federal budget, without raising taxes.
Repeal Obamacare The Obamacare health care takeover is set to destroy American medicine and bankrupt our country. It must be repealed.
Secure the Borders A nation that cannot control its borders is out of control. GOH PAC opposes all forms of amnesty for illegal immigration, just as we fully embrace new Americans who adopt citizenship of our nation legally.
Defend the 1st, 2nd and 10th Amendments These Amendments fundamentally protect our liberty, and are under relentless assault by Washington.
Stop Corporate Welfare and Bailouts Preferential corporate treatment and fiscal bailouts force taxpayers to reward failure and punish success. They destroy fair market competition that is the lifeblood of our free enterprise system.
Protect Human Life Human life is an unalienable right from God, infinitely precious, the protection of which is guaranteed to all persons in principle, according to our Declaration of Independence and Constitution — from conception to natural death. On this there must be no compromise.
The Texas lawmaker said that his PAC will largely seek funds from traditionally conservative organizations as well as a broader grass-roots movement.
“We’re reaching out to people who have traditionally helped conservatives, and that’s where the big push will be. We’re going to have a public approach,” he said. “There are also people who can give $25 to $50.″
