Everyone's best bet is when you need hardware, go to a mom and pop or Ace Hardware store. If you need lumber, go to a lumber yard for contractors, not HD or Lowes. All their stuff is marked up, at the lumber yards, you may find cheaper prices.

We have found that to be true. Of course, we are 70 miles from the nearest Lowe's or Home Depot.

We have an older home and anyone who has ever owned an older home, realize it is a full time job. When we have a big project, we have started calling for prices and most of the time, our very own, locally owned lumber yard is the cheapest.

I blasted Lowes with an angry e-mail and promised to never spend another dime in their stores.

Nice catch, Cigar, I guess that's not out of the realm of possibilities.

    Photo

I don't think the photo has been changed because look at the articles - the two guys they sponsor are from Mexico and brag about being from Mexico in all their articles - including posing with the Mexican flag. This is all about Lowe's and the Racing industry trying to get new customers from Mexico - but they shouldn't do it buy pissing off their existing customers!

This infuriates me! It's another attempt to Mexicanize the events and pasttimes of American culture and to seperate and split, not unite, sporting events. Displaying Mexican flags all over the cars and helmets of an American sports event is a disgrace. It not only makes me disrespect Lowes, but the Mexican drivers as well.

Don't forget to check out the link at the top of the website to their spanish website. You will get a really good look at the helmet.

Here's the link to the spanish website:

    Please call

Please call Lowe's Marketing Director and complain about them sponsoring Mexican drivers instead of American drivers and having Mexico flags all over there cars http://www.adrianfernandez.net/Spanish/index.html

I just talked to him and he said I'm the only one who has complained so PLEASE CALL. Don't let him make any excuses (he will try to do that)

    I told him:
    1. Lowe's should ONLY sponsor American drivers for American races
    2. The car should ONLY have American flags on it while racing in America
    3. I will not shop at Lowe's anymore!
