You have said joazinha. Racism is a universal condition and there are various forms of racism that are ignored. Racism aganist white people or racism between minority groups are rarely discussed in the media even though it goes on. I have mixed Hispanic, Native American and European heritage. I'm a 15th generation New Mexican. My parents raised me to accept people of different races. I have always had white friends who I treat with respect. Growing up I knew some Hispanics both American born and from Mexico who were racist towards white people. I use to stand up for my white friends who got called names for no reason other than being white. I have noticed that Hispanics whose families have long histories in the U.S. sometimes don't have prejudice aganist whites and others. Many Mexicans who are illegal and even some who are legal who don't have a long history of being here have vicious racist attitudes towards Americans of different races. Terry Anderson and a white man discussed the racism towards blacks and whites by hispanics on a show sometime back. I have a black friend who grew up the San Diego area and she told me she endured more racism from hispanics than whites. Last year I remember a story about a Chinese-American young woman who was harrassed by Mecha members at a college. Of course there are blacks and Asians with racist attiudes. But I truly feel the racism aganist Americans by illegals is running rampant. As for the bullying story I think it's stupid people get bullied for different reasons and you learn to take it. I do agree with all of you that racism of other forms is ignored.

I would venture to say it is propaganda, I believe these radical racist groups are putting these stories out there to get some sympathy!

Here's an idea. Just like we have a collection of reports on hispanics who committed crimes against Americans, we should have a spot for stories of hispanic students who have bullied white, Asian, and black students in our schools. This kind of story in the paper needs a READY response!

What about a group of students from Poway, CA going to a high school in Escondito to play softball. They arrived just as the school was letting out. The coach's had to protect the girls because of the name calling and racial insults being shouted at them by the Hispanic students at this high school. Our children are constantly having to contend with this kind of racism, but it never makes the newspapers.

This is a propaganda piece. Along with all the other propaganda pieces, StoptheHate.2008 that Janet Murgu...whatever set up, the attack on Katie Couric, the attack on Lou Dobbs...etc., etc., etc. They're trying to shut us up.
Ready to shut up, folks?...

When I first glanced at the headline I thought it read 'hispanic students bullying.......' and I thought, "Isn't that the truth". Kids in DH's high school in LA used to have these elaborate routes from class to class planned out, sometimes involving a detour outside the building, in order to avoid meeting up with them in the hallways. There were certain times of the day when the hispanics would all be off smoking or something, and the other kids knew it was safe to go use the restrooms. If you had to go at a non-safe time, you never went by yourself. The joys of multiculturalism.

Whre I live, the hispanic students run in packs and bully non-hispanic students at will, but they never attack a group of non-hispanics, it has to be the pack against one. They consider suspensions and expulsions as vacations from school! Their parents are no better, they play the "poor me" victim part very well.
This sense of bravado is has come about in part from the suppression of free speech aka political correctness pushed by bleeding heart hypocrits. My daughter has had to defend herself for REFUSING to be part of the "pack" and always has to watch her back.
I am sick and tired of her having to go through this by her own ethnic group! She gets along well with everyone and thinks for herself. She doesn't agree with the "hispanic caucus" at her school and for that she is threatened and harassed by them? I've told her AND her school administration that if anyone throws the first punch, she has my permission to finish it. If the schools refuse to protect their own students, then it's up to the students to protect themselves! She is well known for her athleticism at school and has a black belt in karate and has defended herself very well. Unfortunately, other students haven't been so lucky.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

If her parents were granted amnesty in 1986 and she was born in the US, what is she doing in a Spanish speakers class? That doesn't make any sense. How could she have been born and raised in the US for 15 years and not know enough English to be in a regular class? The whole family probably sneaked across the border a year ago.
