McCain called me a racist in front of hundreds
McCain called me a racist in front of hundreds
March 1st, 2008
During the 2000 primary season, I made it a point to ask each presidential candidate in person the following question at least once:
Current immigration policy is doubling US population within the lifetimes of today’s children. Since you support this policy, will you at least say when we should stop?
One billion people? Two billion? Three?
Now, there are a couple of things about that question that will turn most politicians’ knees to jelly.
voter stroke
“The problems in Washington are entirely the fault of those rotten Washington politicians, who are out of step with you, the infallible and blameless American people. Elect me, and I will bring the change to Washington you desire—change for the better, of course, by virtue of the fact you desire it.â€RIP Butterbean! Your statement regarding the doubling of our population within our children's lifetime is just a fact and has nothing racist or hateful about it. McCain's reaction is terrible and seeks basically to silence and smear.
Here is, in my opinion, the big con McCain and others have perpetrated in the American people for at least 2 decades. Promoting unfettered illegal and legal immigration is a fantastic boon for the business community because it does 2 things. 1) cheapens labor cost at all levels of skills from tomato pickers (illegals and guest working programs) to computer/software specialist (H1-B visa) and, probably the most remarkable part of the con, is 2) it teases out of the third world a consumers market that would not exist otherwise because by bringing people here from poor countries you basically create buying power from a few dollars a day to 10s of thousands a year! If all the illegals were to go home $333bn (my estimates - can explain) would be lost for businesses. These 2 points explain why greedy business, if not stopped, will destroy America. These globalists/internationalist have no allegiance to the US and as long as they are able to make more profits they will continue to lobby for more immigration for the 2 reasons outlined above.
Think about it!
So what do we need to do?
A legal immigrant and now a US Citizen

Over the past 8-10 years I have written numbers of politicians and ask this very questions "how many" is necessary to make our country strong, at what point is quality of life harmed, do you see the down side to unlimited growth. None would give me a straight answer, most simply return the standard "we value immigration". President Kennedy if I remember correct wanted a cap of 250,000 per year on new immigrations, now we have the new world government that cannot see a down side to selling out America. This is not about race Mr McCain it is about this country and its"citizens" who you and your wealthy corporations are willing to sell out.
I'm old with many opinions few solutions.

John McCain is a liar and an a**h**e. If he becomes president, I'm leaving the country. Same for Hillary and Barak. Guess I'd better start looking

That shows you who's side he is on. He knows that the latino vote is more important to him, as well as Clinton and Obama. Sad.
The National Council of LaRaza is the largest*hate group.

In all seriousness,I would like to ask McCain,"Sir,why are the desires of someone from Sweden or Thailand, that may decide to immigrate here five years from now, more important and relevant to your job as a U.S. public servant than say, a black American whose family has been here for thirteen generations?"

This is exactly what I told the Republican Party after the primaries and I wrote to them about this. I said I won't vote for a man who calls law-abiding citizens, who want the immigration laws on our books, racists and xenophobes. PERIOD. I'm not a register Independent.
I haven't had one call for money this year. Woo HooJoin our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

Its amazing how weak politicians refuse to deal with anything that could remotely be tied to race.
The question was clearly one of population density, resources, prosperity, peace - but I know why politicians really take that respoonse
Its not because they feel the question was racist - it isnt - they think using that word in reply gives them the moral highground, and they dont think people will disagree. They do it because their business donors want cheap (e.g. slave) labor.
