With 9 percent counted. Fox is saying Obama is beating McCain in Ohio and that pretty much clinches it for Obama unless something very wild happens.

    Business Courier of Cincinnati

With only a small percentage of the vote counted so far, Ohio has been called for Sen. Barack Obama by several news organizations.

Obama leads Sen. John McCain 56 percent to 43 percent, with 13 percent of the precincts reporting thus far.

I like how they call these states before the count is already in. They need to keep quiet until the votes are actually counted.

I love the way Maine was called for Obama with only 3 votes in. Not three precincts or three percent, three votes. it said:
    Obama 2
    McCain 1
less than 1% of the vote

Heck, they called PA with less than 1% of the votes in!

Hey, where are all the PA coal workers??? Do they think another job will magically appear after their industry is bankrupted by an Obama presidency?

I like the way they say Obama has it in the bag when the polls are still open out here in the west.

you know, I am beginning to believe those who claim that the election is predetermined and we are only voting to fool ourselves.

There’s no reason to credit the exit polls too much, but if CNN’s exit polls are at all accurate, Obama may end up taking Indiana in addition to Missouri, which would give him 375 electoral votes by the end of the night. If New Mexico’s CNN exit poll is reliable, and assuming that New Mexico backs the popular vote winner at around the same level that he receives nationally as it usually does, Obama is looking at a solid 55%.

McCain didn't really run a very strong campaign. He should have run commercials making this point.

If McCain had voted against the bailout he could have turned this thing around for him.
