    Meet Maya & Miguel!

    Maya & Miguel
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Maya & Miguel is a half-hour children's television cartoon produced by Scholastic Studios. It appears on PBS as part of the PBS Kids lineup. The show premiered on October 11, 2004.

Centering around the lives of pre-teen Hispanic twins Maya and Miguel Santos and their friends, the program is aimed at promoting multiculturalism and education in general. It is geared to the 5-9 age range. Part of the dialogue in each episode is in Spanish but only individual words or phrases which are explained in English.

The program features well-known voice talent, including Candi Milo, Erik Estrada, Lucy Liu, Carlos Ponce, and Elizabeth Peña.

The artists have an unusual attention to detail. In one episode where Miguel is "flying" a spaceship simulator, we see that it is supported by a Stewart platform.

Maya tends to be impulsive and intuitive, while Miguel tends to think things out before acting. Their bilingual pet parrot, Paco, often gets loose, causing much trouble and confusion.

However, in mid-2005, the "He leads with his head, and she follows her heart" line was changed to "they make a great team as they each do their part."

And we're paying for this garbage too...Maya & Miguel is funded in part by a Ready To Learn Cooperative Agreement from the US Department of Education through the Public Broadcasting Service and by The Corporation for Public Broadcasting (CPB). If you look on the website and click on Tito you'll see a mexican flag and if you put your mouse over him he will tell you that he just moved here from mexico and if you have a question for him? Yes, Tito what kind of visa did your familia get to come to America? Did your trip here involve sneaking through our southern border?

    The whole site is bilingual.

Kinda like meet ABC30.com and FresnoBee.com. Both love illegal aliens even if all the negative news they report is somehow related to these people.

Probably another Rockefeller funded organization that is puking Globalism and multiculturalism.

This shows you how devious these one world government CFR types are, getting to the kids early so the can indoctrinate them.

I remember a show like that one on PBS when I was growing up. They ran it first in both Spanish and English. They chose words to translate to English but had whole phrases in Spanish they never bothered to explain and then the next hour it was the same show only completely in Spanish. If I remember correctly they had a few minor stars on the show as well. I guess that's that's PBS's idea of how to teach a foreign language. It seems it benefited the Mexican kids more than it benefited the English speaking kids. Honestly, I really really tried to pick up the language. Usually children are pretty good at that sort of thing, too.
