IMO, she's had a lot of chances to understand that she is engaging in
criminal activity. What I don't get, is don't the congressfolk get that
she's a criminal? _________________

Sir, Why do you support criminal behavior? Clearly, Arellano is a
criminal from the FIRST time she entered this country illegally, meaning
to do so, with fake ID. So, you are aiding and abetting a felon.

Of course she is a criminal, and she is playing stupid that she didn't know she was deported? hahaha.
And how about a criminal working in an airport? Are we safe? A criminal as this for a few bucks would do a job for the Arabs, this woman is not to be trust.
I have an idea for all of us, when it is time for us to pay our taxes we can refuse and look for asylum in a church.

This woman was deported and when she entered the country again illegally they gave her 1 year extension 4 times to stay here? This is crazy, and a shame that something as this is happening in this country. No wonder these people don't have any respect for our laws, they know they can get away. Also if she was already deported the government should stop spending taxpayers money in plain tickets for this woman. They should take her to the border and let her take the road back home. That's what I will do to this woman, I wouldn't sent her back by plain.

Why is these woman's plight more important then every other person suffering around the world. Why do we cater to one group and not others? They are people dying in Africa and little girls having genital mutalation performed on them. Why are they less deserving of an opportunity in America
I am so sick of the arguments suporting illegal immigration.

Deport her now... She has broken the laws on several occasions and no she is no different than anyone else that breaks the laws. These women keep having children that they have no idea how they are going to feed or support them. They are ignorant and also guilty of child negligence. And yes where do they get the thousands of dollars to pay for smugglers if they have no jobs in Mexico?
Freedom isn't free... Don't forget the men who died and gave that right to all of us....

It occurs to me that the author, Sonia Nazario, has glossed over the fact that SHE is a criminal for knowingly hiring an illegal alien to clean her house. I think that SHE should be arrested and should have to return her Pulitzer Prize. This just goes to show how worthless the top prize for our Leftist media is these days when it's handed out to scofflaws and propagandists.
And yes, I am serious that someone should be asking the author why she feels immune to our laws and why she shouldn't be prosecuted.

Because we have a Bias government that would rather believe the sympathetic words of an illegal that go to the inconvenience of reading records and reports.------------------------

08-17-2006, 08:33 PM #19How about children in Thailand, and other countries having sex to support their families? That's very sad, they really most be very poor, and desperated. I'm sure these people don't have $5,000 to pay a coyote to come here.

Mercy or Justice
For what this is worth, overheard a discussion with a panel against illegal immigration on one of the C-Span channels not long ago.
Member of the panel was asked about the anchor babies.
Her reply: The children are citizens of Mexico as well. They are free to leave.
Therefore, that blew a hole in the separation of the family issue.
Makes sense to me!
