MEX Immigration will segregate illegals 5 days.

    PARTIAL TRANSLATION FROM:
    http://www.jornada.unam.mx/2008/01/03/i ... e=012n1pol

The INM will segregate for 5 days "undisciplined" undocumented people.

The "undisciplined" foreigners–lodged in some of the 48 migratory stations that operate in the country– will be segregated for five days to other secure spaces.

The civil groups that work in the promotion of the human rights of the undocumented achieved to established a separation time limit of the "undisciplined", which will be applied by the agents of the National Institute of Migration (INM).

The non-governmental organizations (NGO) had proposed that the segregation time be three days, but, finally, the INM clerk of the Office of the secretary of Government, fixed the interim of five days in the new norms for the migratory stations, present in the last phase of prior, administrative review.

Nevertheless, the Government was not flexible in the restrictions for the entrance to the migratory stations of representatives of civil groups, lawyers, priests and those that intend to support to the undocumented.

The new norms include a chapter relating to "disciplinary measures". This section indicates the verbal, private or public possibility to apply admonition (in case of recidivism), when a foreigner acts against property or the people where they cohabit. Nevertheless, details about what motives will be penalized were not offered, based on which the administrator will be able to separate a foreigner "for up to five days".

What? Mexican officials actually think "undocumented immigrants" into their country might actually include some that are "undisclipined'?How dare they be classified "undisclipined"! Doesn't the mexican government know that they need diversity in their country.Or have they forgotten how they "encourage" American citizens to embrace diversity and their "undocumented" citizens that are invading this country? The mexican government needs to get with the program and stop calling their own country's unwelcome "undisclipined undocumented immigrants" and begin practicing p.c. by refering to them as "behaviorally challenged undocumented citizens".Besides I doubt that these "undisclipined" illegal immigrants are planning to settle in mexico. They're coming to America.(Sarcasm)

I IGNORE Mexico when it comes to just about EVERYTHING, especially ILLEGAL immigration. Mexico presumes to tell US what to do about illegal aliens, yet THEY can't seem to handle the problem the way they want US to!

Well, you know, as much as I detest the illegals the problem is really in
WA! The gate keepers are not allowed to "keep" the gates....our laws
are ignored.....billions go to support our oil soaked country to the south
and we are handed the bill for the low labor costs by WA and employers.

Wish we could outsource our government.
    PROMOTE SELF DEPORTATION, ENFORCE OUR
    LAWS!
