You cant take much stock in polls right now and ive seen polls go right down to the end just like this week in West Virginia govenors race republican had the lead by double didgets untill one week to go and lost.Polls right now are useless.McCain was behind in alot of polls and lost Iowa and others but still won to run for president.

If this was a straw poll, it is not surprising to see Ron Paul win as he has fanatical anarchist supporters.
Hmmm. . .if*Americans are so racist, why do so many*people want to live*here??* One would think we wouild need border walls to keep them here under racist rule rather than building walls to keep them out!

Come on Achilles, you can do better than that!

Let it all hang out! Bring it on!

    "fanatical anarchists supporters!"

    What is your beef, really?

Fear someone will upset your big gubmint subsidized apple cart? Someone flush your independent streak down the toilet? Fear the charity boat will not be at the port to greet you? Or is the role of task master befitting of you? Or, are you addicted to the task master's ways?

Oh fear! Dreadful days are upon us! Those damned anarchists are waving the Constitution again!

Choose your descriptive words carefully Achilles. Nutjobs, or idiots, or pesky constitutionalists would be much more charitable.

Libertarians and left-wing anarchists share much in common on many of the issues of the day. I believe in the 10th Amendment and limited federal government, but excessive libertarianism leads to a form of feudalism and a law of the jungle in which bullies rule over those who are weaker. Some level of government authority must serve as a counterbalance to oppose the rule of rich and powerful individuals whose aspirations to absolute power will. . . and always has. . . absolutely corrupted them!

PS If I were to use those inflammatory words, my comments would be viewed as an ad hominem attack, and I therefore measured my words more carefully and more politely.

Achilles, it still seems if we were to start talking strictly in the political science realms of thoughts, you still wish to try and mix the apples with the oranges. (purposefully?) Anarchy is destructive in nature as you pointed towards. Yet anarchists throughout history seldom have anything to fill the void once their little revolution is completed. Do you see Ron Paul supporters as anarchists?

Paul supporters do not wish for anarchy, nor do they wish to live in this state of soft tyranny, waiting for one side, or both to tilt the boat in their favor anymore than what has been revealed thus far.

If you don't like Ron Paul, or his supporters, that is your business. But to call them anarchist seems misleading or disengenuous at best.

Do you know of another politician that has done more to bring the Constitution back into the light of day? There very well may be some, but they seem limited in number.

Respect where respect is due. Seems as though this man has done much to shake things up. Did they need to be shakened up, or where we better with the status quo?

Respectfully, a idiot, nutjob, or pesky constitutionalist supporting Ron Paul supporter,........not an anarchist.

Slight of hand political correctness dressed as politeness hardly seems an excuse to choose carefully a term such as "fanatical anarchists" to describe Paul supporters. Perhaps you were trying to protect the thin skins of the percieved others? Otherwise, I would prefer idiot, nutjob, or some other term to "fanatical anarchist" which could be (by those with thin skin) taken as an inflammatory word or term.

Personally, I just wish not to be called late for dinner. Otherwise holding back just conceals the hand we play with.

Long live free speech! (I think a Paul supporter said that.)
