Traffickers used I-35 buses to get drugs to Dallas, court papers show
The article details how the men would use tractor-trailers to truck the drugs up from the border and meet at an unnamed truck stop near Waxahatchie, where the contraband would then be transported to a nearby warehouse.
Border Patrol Agents thwart smuggling attempt: Tractor-Trailer rig yields 800-pound marijuana cache
At around midnight yesterday [Aug. 6], agents performed an intensive inspection of a gray Freightliner tractor trailer after a service canine alerted to the trailer. The search revealed ten burlap sacks sitting on the floor of the trailer in plain sight.
Agents recovered a total of 380 individually wrapped bundles of marijuana concealed in the sacks, weighing 803.3 pounds and valued at more than $640,000.

And Bush insists on defying Congress and usurping the representatives of the American people by allowing Mexican trucks to role across our borders without inspection.

Was the truck from Mexico or the United States (it doesn't say in the story)? Who were the drivers (Mexican or American)?

OK. But the biggest problem, is how to stop the Americans that seem to have to have these drugs???
The drug war has been going on for years, but to stop it, the Americans that rely on these drugs has to end.
What is the answer to that?

True, mbrown. The War on Drugs is about as effective as our current war on terrorism or any other wars declared by the last 3 administrations.
The answers are probably very simple: CLOSE THE BORDERS, inspect everything and everyone coming into this country to at least 99.9 percent accuracy, throw out the illegals, and spend our tax dollars on something useful like helping the American people get over their addiction instead of waging foreign wars and protecting their borders instead of ours.Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)
