Thread: Senator Dole's Office Visit Noon Monday April 3rd

There is a move afoot to visit Senator's offices on Monday April 3rd at noon across the nation and we have one local to us here that might do a lot of good considering this Senator consistently votes in favor of illegal immigration and we can expect her to continue to do so. Senator Elizabeth Dole's office is located at 310 New Bern Avenue Raleigh, NC Suite 122 and I believe it to be inside the federal building there across from the post office so be prepared to go through a security screening there. I would bring whatever you want to hand over to her staff as well as some brief but firm talking points concerning your opposition to the bill that just came out of the judiciary committee and illegal immigration in general. I plan to be there and don't worry if you are not exactly on time as I hope there will be a wait myself. It's just at lunch time when most people can get away and if your lunch is at a different hour then by all means do come then too. If we get a bunch of people showing up here to voice their opposition word will get back to her that the people are riled up enough to show up at her office over this and that rarely if ever happens over anything else there I am certain.

Ron Wyden has a d- F grade on illegal immigration

Be sure to also wish me Happy Birthday if you see me on Monday. I think this will be the most productive part of my day and I hope it will make a difference. I look forward to seeing folks down there at Senator Dole's office on Monday at noon and I hope it will make the news!

Happy Birthday on Monday and I'll try to remember to say it. I will plan to be there barring any last minute hassles. I'm within a 1/2 hour 45 minute drive depending on all the crazy Raleigh traffic and parking nightmares downtown. It is still Spring Break Monday and the kids are home and driving me crazy. Still, the teen can watch her younger sister for a couple of hours or so.

If no opposition is expecting to show up too, I'd actually like to bring my kids. We can all wear rags (just kidding). What is the esteemed Elizabeth Dole's nickname? Libby or Lizzy? Well, I can pin signs to my children's shirts that say, "Dear Libby or Lizzy, Please don't flush our future's in America down the potty (just kidding). Already mentioned this to my teen and she is not happy nor about wearing rags. Probably won't bring either kid and if I do I'm gonna have to bribe my teen.

I'll be checking for updates and I read you said we can be "fashionably late." I'll try not to be late though.

I will look forward to seeing you there. I don't think the opposition is much aware of this plan really and even if they are it's inside a federal building where there is federal law enforcement agencies so I would not mind having a federal marshal check someone's credentials there if they claimed to be illegal aliens within a federal building at all. I am sure if we adhere to principles and are there to speak rationally and with manners that our message will get across to them. I hope everyone who can will join us and thank you. I am looking forward to my birthday.

I was just able to get back on the Alipac forums after the server failures, and read this message here. Are others joining us? I tried with a couple of friends but they live outside Raleigh and have young kids and/or jobs. NumbersUSA has been promoting this visiting of Senator's offices on Monday but I haven't yet read the latest email from them that is in my folder. Anything to bring, i.e. handouts? I’m pressed for time. If we are speaking to the staff I have some personal nightmares to share on dealing with overflowing ERs at hospitals and some other but lesser matters dealing with the hoards of illegal aliens.

Anyway and if the site goes down again on my end I'll be there around noon and am going to Map Quest to print out the directions and hopefully some parking instructions too because in downtown Raleigh parking leaves much to be desired.

Also point out that the Specter-Kennedy bill will reduce American's wage income by 8%. They probably don't care about that, but the American people sure will when it comes time to vote!

Thanks TimBinh for the link and I printed out the flyer. I will also have on copy Alipac's flyer 'Help Stop Illegal Aliens from taking American Jobs!" as well as a couple of flyer from Citizens for Tight Borders whose two members are here at Alipac and can be visited at citizensfortightborders@gmail.com. While I'm at it, I may as well bring along all the Frosty Wooldridge articles I've printed over the past year. Well, no I won't do that exactly because I would not be able to locate all the print outs in time. Not even half of them.

For anyone else visiting their Senator's offices tomorrow another suggestion from NumbersUSA (www.numbersusa.com) is to take your Senator's immigration_reduction report cards with you and give thanks if they received A or B ratings. In this case Elizabeth Dole from NC has a D rating so won't be getting any thanks.
