Mexico says top U.S., Mexican officials to meet in Washington next week

Senior Mexican officials will hold meetings on January 25 and 26 with U.S. President-Elect Donald Trump's top aides in Washington, to discuss bilateral relations such as security, trade and migration, the government said on Thursday.

In a statement, the foreign ministry said Mexican Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray and Economy Minister Ildefonso Guajardo would attend talks with chief-of-staff Reince Priebus, Trump's son-in-law and advisor Jared Kushner, among others.

The meetings will also be attended by Steve Bannon, Trump's chief strategist, Gary Cohn, who heads the White House National Economic Council, trade advisor Peter Navarro, and national security advisor Michael Flynn, the statement said.

Trump has sent Mexico's peso to record lows, threatening to tax Mexican-made products for the U.S market, build a wall along the southern border, and scrap a free trade agreement with Mexico if he cannot renegotiate it to favor American interests.

Mexico had better be presenting a Plan of Action to President Trump and what MEXICO is going to do with all those deported and put them to work in Mexico building up their Country. They ALL go...NO DEAL!

MEXICO CITY, Jan 23 - The flow of foreigners crossing Mexico to reach the United States makes immigration a shared responsibility between the two countries, Foreign Minister Luis Videgaray said on Monday, days before he begins talks with US President Donald Trumps aides.

Videgaray described Mexico as an "indispensable partner" to the United States.

He noted that the number of foreigners crossing Mexico to reach the United States had more than doubled since 2013 to over 500,000 people during 2016, while the number of undocumented Mexicans crossing the border had fallen sharply.

If 15 million illegal aliens from Mexico hadn't crossed the border to begin with, none of these Central Americans would be trying the same thing. You started it, Mexico, so you finish it. You call all of your citizens back home to Mexico. And you do it now. That's all the criminals, rapists, murderers, women with children, drug runners, day laborers, all of them. 100%. You call them home. You put it in your newspapers, you put it on Univision and all the Spanish language television stations, as well as all of our MSM. And you do it now.

Mexico...take your lumps and get it over with.

Mexico is not an "indispensable partner". You are NO partner to the US. You never were. You are liars and crooks and that is ALL you are.

Step up to the plate and do the right thing, take your people back and stop others from reaching our borders.

You are already feeling the pain...and it will get much, much worse for you. As Trump would say..."that I can guarantee".

Answer this question Mexico.... why does the Mexican government issue 20 day travel permits to illegal immigrants crossing Mexico's southern
border to reach the U.S. border?

They issue the 20 day permits for $$$. Then the gangs get to fleece the human cargo for more $$$, rape, murder and extortion of them.

Then the US gives Mexico more $$$ for "so called" enforcement, build a wall...yadda, yadda, yadda, all a bunch of BS!

Mexico is nothing but a human and drug trafficking ring full of corruption. Too bad Australia wasn't south of our border and this cesspool wasn't off on a island by themselves.

How about we shut the border down for good...and do our business and trade elsewhere.

That would be the first thing to get rid of if I were Mexico is that 20 day pass through their country to ours. That sucks. That's stupid. Mexico looks really dumb complaining about "shared responsibility" for a problem they started and then are handing out 20 day free passes to the US through Mexico. The only people that helps are the drug cartels smuggling them into the US. So obviously the Mexican Government is in bed with the drug cartels.

To be honest, I don't understand why any company would set up in Mexico.

I handle freight movement periodically from the Manzanilla port to U.S. Border and it is EXTREMELY difficult doing biz in Mexico. It's very exspensive because cargo theft is huge biz for cartels and you need to hire armed security to escort trucks.

The only thing that makes sense to me is the auto manufacturers are paying kick-backs to city Mayors and cartel for free passage.
