President Trump’s former national security adviser Michael Flynn is reportedly willing to testify about Trump Team’s ties with Russia in exchange for immunity from prosecution.

Flynn, who served as an adviser to Trump’s campaign and resigned as national security adviser after just 24 days, has sent the request to the FBI and both the House and Senate intelligence committees, The Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.

A lawyer for Flynn released a statement confirming there were ongoing discussions between his client and the intelligence committees.

“General Flynn certainly has a story to tell, and he very much wants to tell it, should the circumstances permit,” read the statement from Flynn’s lawyer Robert Kelner.

The agencies have not yet taken him up on his offer, the Journal said.

Flynn resigned after it became public that he had discussed Obama-era sanctions with the Russian ambassador before Trump was inaugurated.

The FBI and intelligence committee on Capital Hill are trying to determine whether anyone in the Trump administration colluded with Russia in order to interfere with the 2016 presidential election.

I wish they had succeeded in removing Fethullah Gulen from this country. I don't know who he owns, but he operates a lot of charter schools across the country - most of them in Texas.

There are some very disturbing reports about those schools.

See what I mean about Texas?

Talks a good talk, but let's this happen. He is operating private schools with taxpayer monies.

After a quick google of the Fethullah Gulen issue, sounds like a federal deal that has nothing to do with Abbott. Extradition of the guy is the responsibility of the federal government, Abbott has no control over that.

And the plot thickens - Flynn is something else, dealing with the turks to influence the return of a person they want to prosecute, taking half a million and only wrote an op-ed @ sending the person back, then turkey wanted their money back. Wheeler, dealer. Don't think he ever divulged that he was a foreign agent prior to taking the Trump appointment. These guys need lie detector tests before granting a position. Now he will turn on him; he is not believable anymore unless he has evidence. Manafort has ties and could have been the reason for investigations.

Michael Flynn wanted to try to find a way to return Gulen to Turkey. Flynn doesn't think Gulen should be in the United States.

I don't think Flynn wants to testify to hurt Trump, I think his "story to tell" is why he was asked to resign as Director, National Intelligence, in the Obama Administration. At least that's the story I'm interested in. He had serious disagreements with Obama on the veracity of our intelligence operations.
