President Trump's former national security adviser Mike Flynn has turned more than 600 pages of documents to the Senate Intelligence Committee investigating him, the Washington Examiner has confirmed.

The documents are mostly business records, but they also include some personal information, CNN reported.

The intelligence committee sent two subpoenas late last month to businesses associated with Flynn.

Flynn had previously refused to respond to a seperate subpoena for documents related to Flynn's meetings and communications with Russian officials.

Flynn was facing a Tuesday deadline to comply with the subpoenas for business records.

Flynn was fired as Trump's national security adviser in February after admitting he misled Vice President Mike Pence about a phone call he had with the Russian ambassador during the transition.

He is a main subject of the Senate and House Intelligence Committees' investigations into Russia meddling in the U.S. election.
