Time to bust the bane of taxpayer pain

Mr. Nugent writes:

Ted Nugent is spot on. The FairTax is not only the best answer to our tax problem, it's the single most important solution to our entire economic problem. It taxes illegal aliens on their consumption but denies them access to the Rebate which puts them at a 25% to 40% expendable income tax disadvantage against American Workers.

It also taxes all new products and services the same, which means it taxes imports presently not taxed at all or significantly below the corporate and business income tax rates US companies and businesses pay at the same rates US companies collect on new consumption. The FairTax ends the absurd disparity we presently have against our own employers, businesses, citizens, and workers that favors importers that has destroyed our economy.

The FairTax is not only a major part of the answer to illegal immigration by removing any incentive to hire them in the first place, it's the fundamental legislation that wipes "comparative advantage" for foreign produced goods at the disadvantage of US producers and service-providers right off off the face of the map.

Anyone who still doesn't support the FairTax, either still doesn't understand it or has a vested interest in our present tax system.

As I understand the alleged fair tax, its family consumption allowance would create a very dangerous and dependent voting constituency which would dwarf those who now receive a monthly Social Security check.

Just what America needs is another Government run boondoggle to be used and abused by every crook in America.

At one time Ron Paul was for FairTax but has since seen the folly of such a system. It would not work and would cost more then it would help. IMHO

The FairTax doesn't cost anything. It saves Americans over $265 billion a year in lost productivity and tax compliance costs. It also frees up the liberty of every American to earn, invest and save without any manipulation by the US government. Ron Paul will vote for the FairTax if it gets to the floor of the US House of Representatives. He's already said that.

Ron Paul wanted to eliminate all personal income tax and fund all of the federal government with corporate income taxes. What kind of "boondoggle" do you think that would create for the United States?

Seems that Judy just does not get it, nor wants to get it, and she continues to assert those who have actually studied the text of the alleged fair tax and opposed it don't understand it.

Last time I read the legislation it is quite clear the proposal is designed to create a new tax, a 23 percent tax on every new manufactured article in addition to taxing the property which working people have in their labor, not to mention it keeps alive Congress’ power to lay and collect excise taxes calculated from profits, gains and other incomes. In effect it is a very clever “progressiveâ€

I don't know enough about the money world and business, but what ever happened to the Tariff? We know what happened with NAFTA, But I remember the slogan, - " BUY AMERICAN " it was like an unspoaken
BOYCOT. That seemed to get our crumbling economy back on its feat.
The AMERICAN worker was PROUD of he products, and we had a good quality of life. It just seems like we GIVE too many INSENTIVES to
everybody that wants to do Business with US.
