This post shows Romney's records on illegal immigration is better than Paul's.

Don't you see the issue. The fact that every one here is debating what the merits of Romney's plan would seem to be prove that his plan is ambigious and should be suspect. If his plan was clear and definite, we would not be having this discussion.

Green card holders are already here LEGALLY. There would be no need to make any special considerations for those people. They already have an established pathway to obtain citizenship.

Now, if Romney means he is going to give illegals 6 months to get their affairs in order, and then deport them, I would be very pleased. Anything less than that is unsatisfactory. Unfortunatly, no other candidates with the exception of Ron Paul even comes close to addressing this issue.

    That is the problem.

YES, that is what he said!!! And, that is why Tancredo said that he endorsed him!!

Somewhere there is an interview that Tancredo did with one of the radio stations about this. This is EXACTLY what Tancredo said!!!

ROMNEY MADE HIS REMARKS ON ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION CLEAR WHEN HE HAD HIS LAST DEBATE. I SWORE HE SAID, ILLEGALS WILL HAVE A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME TO GET THEIR AFFAIRS IN ORDER, AND LEAVE THE COUNTRY. THEN, ONCE OUTSIDE OF THE U.S., THEY COULD APPLY FOR ENTRY, BUT THEY WOULD HAVE TO WAIT IN LINE BEHIND THE MILLIONS OF OTHER PEOPLE BEFORE THEM THAT WERE ALREADY IN LINE. That is BETTER than any other plan I have heard. And it is NOT Huckabee's "touch-back" plan either.

SO FAR, ROMNEY HAS BEEN MORE CONVENCING THAN ANY OTHER CANDIDATE, THAT HE WILL NOT GRANT AMNESTY OR "SPECIAL PATHWAYS TO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

I'm glad Romney finally clarified that point because one of his prior interviews left me feeling like I needed a decoder ring to understand his plan. He better win enough delegates to secure the nomination before the convention. Otherwise, McCain/Huck/Rudy and the MSM will take him down.

Tom Tancredo, Sherrif Joe, and Dana Rorbacher-----as well as many others have endorsed Romney. None of these men would be putting their names/reputations on the line----if they thought that Romney was not going to come through with doing what he said that he would.

Well Duncan Hunter just endorsed Mike Huckabee. I guess he does not care about HIS reputation. I keep saying that I do not trust any of these sellouts.
