I believe ALIPAC to be the best organization among those of like size and design, but NumbersUSA is the largest and most powerful organization in the battle. They actually have lobbyist working hard for us on the Hill. IMO, questioning their credibility and knowledge is not warranted.

Fred Thompson..matches all the conservative criteria and he is a very intelligent person..
But he has a meddling wife and he is for free trade..Fred might continue the policies of nepotism.(.giving a job to Ms. Wife in exchange for her Senator hubbies vote in the Senate..or am I misreading McConnell's real position on immigration and the war?) but he may not..
Nepotism and Follower Reward Job appointments are a serious problem..because..it is corruption and means that some Federal Agencies that have unlimited power and profound impact on our lives are being run by people whose only qualification is...corruption of a family member or political ally
Romney wins in New Hampshire, Wyoming, 2nd in Iowa.. Fred will probably win in South Carolina..3rd in Iowa, 2nd in Wyoming
So there are the choices..but can Fred win against Obama or Clinton?

I think Fred would be good on the issues but clearly people are not
looking at Obama on the issues , Obama has answered few questions
on any issues , its the same old Dem deal "I have a plan" , " I am the candidate of change"
But you can't get them to define anything

Obama's platform is change based on a racial/generational text..
Has anyone seen what is purported to be new "Obama Girl" video?..It is seriously offensive..Just watch...without the sounds..

One item everyone is overlooking
Huckabee lied..He stated he did not run negative campaign against Mitt Romney..
Where did the "Mormon" whisper campaign originate?
Where was it resonating and in whose favor?
Wyoming sent a clear message from the West about that issue.. Huckabee cannot win on lies, whisper campaigns or religious divisiveness..

01-07-2008, 02:00 PM #19Obama is half white so I don't think his running as a African American is quite right.I don't mean to pick at him but he pretends to understand what African Americans have been through in this country when in reality he was pretty much raised in a white environment and he is not really old enough to know what happened in the 50's 60's fight for equal rights..

the word on the street is that if Hillary keeps getting drubbed by him at some point she or her people (most likely) will go after him on race
Mistake on her part IMO , Also he has to be very careful
to keep race completely out of it , It can't help him and it can only hurt him
