Mob Rule on Immigration

A mob is a frightening thing. It is driven by angry emotion and its purpose is to intimidate and destroy. Since the 1960s the United States has been increasingly ruled by fear of the mob and the left wing's ability to mobilize a mob is its favorite tactic. Notice that the left wing promotes an agenda that hampers police enforcement of laws that protect life and property from the mob. They also want to disarm the law-abiding citizen. The leftists call this agenda one of "non-violence" and "justice for the oppressed," but this is a lie that facilitates their own threatening tactics. Whether leftists are calculating destroyers or cowards collaborating with criminals is a moot point. Both kinds of people are to be found in the ranks of the left wing and have come to dominate the two major parties.



The era of mob rule began with the black civil rights movement. Now it is quite true that blacks needed to be freed from their second-class citizenship. Ironically, once that goal was achieved the early non-violent protests were immediately succeeded by skyrocketing crime levels and inner-city riots. Then every group who felt victimized began to hold threatening demonstrations. The left wing latched onto the resulting fear and began to portray violence as legitimate political and moral activism. A host of fear-driven legislation and corrosive social philosophies followed. That legacy includes racist affirmative action; Ted Kennedy's 1965 bill that began mass, third-world immigration; the cults of multiculturalism, diversity and victimhood; rule by frivolous lawsuit; unconstitutional judicial activism; enforced equality of result rather than opportunity and endless attempts to force us all to accept these deadly innovations either through politically-correct lies or by outright legislation.



All of this has left us completely defenseless to fight our most urgent and threatening problem: Immigration. I will not dwell on the baleful effects of immigration here. If anyone reading this is in touch with reality then you know how immigration is killing us and how our Democratic and Republican leaders lie in order to cover this up. My colleague, Frosty Wooldridge, who also appears on the Washington Dispatch, is documenting the immigrant invasion in a satisfyingly articulate manner. Do a search for him on the front page of the Dispatch and read his entire archive. The truth is out there and the truth will set you free, but it will also scare you.



I've read more than a few opinion columns that congratulate President Bush for his courage in proposing amnesty for illegal aliens and pushing for increased numbers of legal immigrants. I submit that Bush's proposal is quite cowardly. He is pandering to a mainly Mexican interest group that he is afraid of and to corporate interests who want to import a class of underpaid third-world serfs. Never mind that most of this Mexican underclass either can't vote or are easily-radicalized grist for the left wing and will vote for Democrats and join radical labor unions. Currently there is a group suing large supermarket chains. Read the following from a Sam Francis column:



"After decades of hiring illegal aliens and lobbying against any and all restrictions on immigration, Big Business is about to find out the real costs of the Open Borders it has subsidized.



In California, the Washington Times reported last week, thousands of Mexicans who have worked for some of the state's and the nation's largest supermarket chains are joining in a class action suit against their employers.



They also have the aid of the Mexican government. [Mexico urges immigrants to join class-action suit, By Jerry Seper, March 22, 2004]



The grounds of the suit, brought by the Mexican-American Legal Defense and Education Fund (MALDEF), one of the most radical Open Borders lobby groups, are that the supermarkets have discriminated against the workers 'because they were employed as independent contractors.'



The claim is that the supermarket chains since 1994 or so have fraudulently hired workers—mainly for menial jobs like cleaning floors—as independent contractors and thereby 'reaped millions of dollars in annual labor costs savings' by paying less than minimum wages, avoiding paying benefits costs and forcing workers to work seven days a week.



Well, what else would you expect? What, after all, is the point of hiring illegal aliens if you can't exploit them in ways that you can't exploit Americans? "



Note that these Mexicans have the support of the Mexican government, George Bush's great friend, and MALDEF. MALDEF is the Mexican American Legal Defense and Education Fund. Read this from a column by Matt Hayes on the Fox News website:



" ...MALDEF's co-founder, Mario Obledo, who said in June 1998 'California is going to be a Hispanic state and anyone who doesn't like it should leave. They should go back to Europe.'



'Reconquista' is a term employed by groups like MALDEF who want to see California and its neighboring states annexed, at least culturally, with people free to move there from Mexico."



When Bush is described as being courageous for his abominable immigration plan it is because he risked, and received, the outrage of true Americans. Bush has contempt for true Americans. He thinks he can take them for granted. What he knows is that whenever legislation is under debate that tries to target illegal aliens, organized mobs of illegals pack the galleries of statehouses all over the country in an attempt to intimidate the legislators. A mob called the National People's Action recently invaded Karl Rove's home in order to intimidate him into supporting the DREAM ACT.



Our leaders can't all be as stupid on immigration as their actions indicate. I believe they are driven on the most visceral level by simple fear. They are like the appeasers in Britain before WWII who redefined cowardice as morally-superior pacifism. This is further complicated by the fact that politically-correct fascism insists that non-whites are above criticism. They cannot be enemies or criminals or racists no matter what they do or say. Our "leaders" are gripped by a case of mass Stockholm Syndrome.



Our leaders are like white, suburban teens who adopt the styles of black and Hispanic gangs, because gangs are simply the most frightening things in their world. They identify with the aggressor and they redefine it all as moral superiority. This is at the very root of every left-wing innovation since the 1960s. Leftists redefine immorality, irresponsibility, mob violence, theft, irrational emotionalism, weakness and cowardly surrender as brave, progressive and superior virtues, but they have achieved victory.


True Americans cannot continue to support leaders who surrender to the mob. We will have to face threats without running to the government for help. Our government doesn't care about us. It doesn't fear us enough. Ladies and gentlemen at the very least break the two-party monopoly on power. We will have to do more, but that is a start. Writing is what I can do, and whenever I sit down to write I am filled with a sense of freedom.

Majority rule is now called "mob" rule in your book? Sounds like you are promoting socialism with this kind of talk. Mob rule is what we saw on our streets during the illegal immigrant demonstrations.
