Right now with the financial news people are scrambling to save their money. People are wound around the block at IndyMac trying to get their money out of the failing bank.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac are at the brink. GM is laying off more workers, closing plants, salaried workers are being laid off, health benefits are being taken away from retiring GM employees. It's a mess.

Gas prices have created a national crisis and it looks like the coffee can in the backyard for our money is looking better and better.

Right now illegal immigration is going to feed right into that. When you have people losing their jobs and illegals having them, watch this issue explode IF the groups get the message out as to how it is linked. We will probably see a lot more self-deport if the economy keeps getting worse.

Too bad someone can't make millions of bumper stickers asking that same question.

Something along the line of "NCLR? What's that?" National Council of Latino Racists!

That would get the word out real fast.

That is so typical of Mexican drug cartel apologists...Saying "demand is in the USA." Demand is EVERYWHERE, but Americans have the most money to pay for it. Yes, we should do something about demand, but should the blame be mostly with drug addicts? Should we punish users in this country more than dealers?? At any rate, the drug cartel murderers, and the Mexican military aiding them have no place on our soil.

After McCain ended his Q and A session, Morones and McCain spoke face to face and McCain told him about the need for Border Security. Morones asked the Senator to meet with him privately without cameras so Enrique could make the point that Immigration raids are "separating families" and border walls are "killing immigrants".

That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. If the double layer fence were extended all the way to Brownsville, FAR, FAR FEWER people would attempt the journey through the desert to cross an impenetrable border. The border fence would SAVE LIVES of thousands.

Let's hope that THIS encounter will clearly demonstrate to McCain what a NO-brainer Morones REALLY is!
