BREAKING NEWS: EGYPTIANS ERUPT IN CELEBRATION FOLLOWING ARMED FORCES STATEMENT
Protesters across Egypt erupted in massive celebrations after receiving news that Morsi is no longer President of Egypt.
Following the Military Chief's statement, Pope Tawardors and Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, Ahmed El-Tayyed, and Dr. Mohammed El-Baradei all gave a short speech in support of the Military's move. The three individuals all declared that this roadmap achieves the aspirations of the Egyptian people.
Reports indicate Islamists at Rabaa Al-Adaweya started chanting in support of "legitimacy" and appeared to remain defiant.
Meanwhile, Islamist-run channels, including Hafez, Al-Nas, and the Brotherhood run Misr 25 have all been taken off-air. More information will be provided shortly.

BREAKING NEWS: Egypt's Armed Forces Removes Morsi From Power
In a televised address, the Military stated the ushering of a new era in Egypt's future and declared the removal of President Morsi from office. Head of the Supreme Constitutional Court will rule Egypt during the transitional period.
Armed Forces Chief outlined the roadmap for the coming months, which will include:
1. Suspending the constitution and forming a committee to look into ammendments of the constitution.
2. Holding early Presidential elections, until which the head of the Supreme Constitutional Court will be in charge.
3. Creating a national coalition government that represents the aspirations of all Egyptians
At the start of the statement, Armed Forces Chief Abdel Fattah Al Sisi stated that since 2012, national dialogue had been accepted by all parties except the Presidency. He added that the Military expressed its concerns over threats to the Egyptian people on June 30.
In response to President Morsi's last speech, Al Sissi stated that the speech did not "fulfil the aspirations of the Egyptian people."
At the televised address was Pope Tawadros, Sheikh of Al Azhar Ahmed El Tayeb, Mohammed El Baradei, and a member of the Salafist Nour Party.

Updates from Egypt including Breaking News:
* Security sources and reports are indicating that Supreme Guide of the Muslim Brotherhood Mohammed Badei has been arrested in Marsa Matrouh by Egyptian police forces.
* An Egyptian Court has ordered one year prison for Prime Minister Hisham Qandil after it rejected his appeal on charges of ignoring another court order.
* The President's advisor has stated that President Morsi is in the Presidential Guard's residence and he is unsure whether the President can leave (i.e. whether he is under house arrest or not). Meanwhile, Al-Ahram reports that the President has been stripped of his Presidential powers. Other reports appear to confirm this, stating that the Presidential Guard has declared that it now responds to Military Chief Abdel Fattah Al Sissi and not President Morsi.
* Supporters of the President in Rabaa Al-Adaweya are relatively calm and sources indicate a "depressed" atmosphere as they await the Military's statement.
* Unconfirmed reports indicate that the Shura council (Upper house parliament) has been dissolved and that the constitution has either been suspended or cancelled. The same reports indicate that the Muslim Brotherhood - as a group - has been dissolved and can no longer operate legally.

Human Rights Watch has announced that at least 91 cases of sexual violence occurred over the past four days in Tahrir Square, with several cases of rape being reported.
The Deputy Middle East Director of HRW stated, "The rampant sexual attacks during the Tahrir Square protests highlight the failure of the government and all political parties to face up to the violence that women in Egypt experience on a daily basis in public spaces."
According to HRW, there were five attacks on June 28th, 46 on June 30th, 17 on July 1st, and 23 on July 2nd.
The most common situations reported by women always started when a woman would suddenly be encircled by groups of young men and separated from her friends or family. In certain cases, women are dragged and taken to other areas where the sexual violence continues. In multiple cases, the attacks lasted close to an hour, leading to several hospitalizations.
HRW has also stated that women have reported being beaten with metal pipes, sticks, chairs and attacked with knives. HRW has condemned the "lack of interest by the government" and stated that such attacks are led by a culture of impunity.

Updates from Egypt - New Details of Military's Road Map and News:
Egypt's state-run newspaper Al-Ahram has declared the "fall of Morsi" and has outlined new details of the Armed Forces' proposed roadmap. According to the proposal, the roadmap will:
1. The Egyptian army will establish a three-member Presidential council that will be chaired by the head of the Supreme Constitutional Court.
2. The roadmap proposes a 9-12 month transitional period which will include a neutral transitional government that will be headed by a military leader (perhaps as Prime Minister? - unclear as of yet).
3. Draft a new constitution in a transitional period to draw the path to Presidential and Parliamentary elections.
4. Under current Military plans, President Morsi will either resign before the deadline or he will be removed from power by the Armed Forces' roadmap.
*****4:45:00 left until the deadline expires*****

In other news (11:15 AM Local Time):
1. The radical Gamaa Al-Islamiya has changed its stance on the current situation and has called on President Morsi to hold early Presidential elections. The group had previously rejected calls and stated that the President must continue his term.
2. Muslim Brotherhood leader Essam El-Erian has declared that "freedom and legitimacy is more valuable than life" and has stated that the Egyptian Army's fate will be similar to that of the Syrian regime's army as the "years of military coups are over." El-Erian also said that "the Egyptian people...reject thuggery and bullying by certain political powers and the media."
3. Reports indicate that Former President Hosni Mubarak believes that President Morsi to step down in order to "save lives." Mubarak is reported to have stated that the number of protesters in the past few days are much larger than those who demonstrated against him in 2011. Mubarak added that he responded to the demands of the people and resigned in order to prevent more Egyptian blood from being spilled, and called for President Morsi to do the same.
4. The National Salvation Front and the Tamarod Campaign have called for Egypt's Armed Forces to arrest President Morsi for the incitement of violence. More information soon.
