We are definitely worse in terms of just cash flow than we were five years ago. We have a house we can't sell, so we rent it at a loss and watch as our equity slips away into an upside down mortgage situation.
We have an enormous college education bill we're funding for our daughter -- Bless her heart she was accepted into one of our so-called "better" schools -- but at a price that would stop your heart. She will be in serious debt once she graduates, and we are wondering if she will even be able to get a job.
We make more, and both have jobs, but somehow, I can't even afford a new pair of pants. I'm paying such high costs for housing, education, food, and taxes, there is just nothing left for anything else!
I'd love to march -- but WHEN? We're all so saddled with bills that we have to work --
But there has got to be ONE DAY where we all DO put it all aside and rise up in protest. Our country has been stolen, our treasure is being robbled -- and yet we all sit here idly by, peddling as fast as we can, yet are going nowhere, just further into debt.
It is no doubt, high time we stop the madness. Honestly, when you think about it, why even work? Nothing we can do will ever get us out of the debt we're in -- we need a major cleansing of our government, of the system, of the crooks, of the influence buying -- and to START AT THE TOP!!!!
I for one, am ready to march. But who will lead? Actually, I'm ready to do more than march, but what will it take?

The key assumption behind organizations like our own ALIPAC is that we can organize and work within the American political system to end a problem that an overwhelming majority of Americans can (at some level) agree on. The nation of our birth has been invaded and all of us would like to think that it is possible, within the system, to successfully organize our people towards the end of saving what our fathers built.
But, if instead, we come to understand that the American government has been subverted at every level then the next step would be to organize for new government. We could do this by forming organizations that agitate for either a total reorganization of our existing government (i.e. perhaps via a new constitutional convention) or some variant of separatism, which would envision the U.S. devolving into distinct regional nations.
Personally, I am in agreement with those who think that we need to wipe the slate clean and install new government, the problem is finding a way to do this without creating all sorts of mayhem.

Well, a while back I had a thought on how to get our government's attention without travelling all the way to Washington, DC. We need a National Protest Day where after much advertising and notification to the people, everyone, whether they are at work or at home, stand outside on the street in front of whatever building they're in and hold up protest signs. These signs should all have basically the same wording for whatever stunt Congress is pulling at the moment, like these senseless bailouts. The media wouldn't have a choice but to report it if all the streets and roads across this country were lines with 'mad as hell' citizens.
RIP TinybobIdaho -- May God smile upon you in his domain forevermore.

I spoke to a lady from Poland the other day. She told me the people rebelled against the government by putting their television set in a front window, facing out to the street. I guess to show everyone they didn't want to see their ignorant, corrupt government or the lying news media on tv anymore. They got widespread publicity, and the government worked to correct those things the people were protesting about. Sometimes it can be something very simple, but all have to do it in unison.

Any person who protests, riots, demonstrate etc. is wasting their time and playing right into the hands of the globalists. They'd like nothing better than to use that as an excuse to set up an outright fascists government. No revolution has ever worked including the American revolution. That's why the U S fought the civil war. What we need to do is focus on blocking amnesty.

No revolution has ever worked including the American revolution.
Almost all revolutions do leave a citizenry in worse straits than before. The French Revolution led to the terror, the rise of Caesar gave way to Nero and Caligula, and the people's revolution gave China Mao. The people in power make the new rules. Today those people are Bush, Ted Kennedy, Pelosi, Obama, Boxer, McCain. A revolution right now would give the powers that be their opportunity to get the government they really want, which obviously would not accomplish our goals.
Somewhat related to this, there are some interesting parallels between our own problems and those the Chinese faced in the Opium Wars. An antagonistic foreign power, agressive mercantilism, a "drugged" populace, corrupt local officials, a dwindling standard of living...the list goes on.

I still think we need march. The MSM has pointed out very few numbers of anti-illegal protesters at Hispanic marches. And when the MSM does, they make them all out to be old, white, racist rednecks. They point out that the Minutemen are referred to by Bush as "vigilantes". And everyone is fooled into thinking that its just a small percentage of Americans that dont want amnesty. That image is posted in the minds of everyone watching their news.
I feel that when dealing with politicians that THINK they can tell Americans what to do and how its going to be done, we need to scream, yell and kick back and let them know who is in charge. Its the only way it will get their attention. AND YOU CANT HIDE MILLLIONS OF AMERICANS MARCHING DOWN THE STREET, EVEN FROM THE MSM CAMERAS.
If we dont have a march, and America is invaded by the 3rd world, everyone is going to say "why didnt we march".RIP Butterbean! We miss you and hope you are well in heaven.-- Your ALIPAC friends
