What no one seems to be saying...
Hello everyone!
Remember learning about the Civil War and how most slave owners and sympathizers said our nation's economy would completely fail, if we got rid of slavery?! We as a nation, can not continue to flourish on the backs of illegal immigrants. That's a really screwed up system. We HAVE to close the borders first and foremost...then we can worry about those who are here.
Thanks for this forum!

Americans tend to protest at the ballot box. I think we need to target all those, including Ted Kennedy, who are pushing for open borders and amnesty. We need to do what the Moral Majority did back in the 80's. Does anybody have a list of how the senators voted on this last immigration bill?

This whole situation stinks to high heaven. The backing for these rallys must be amazing, and we can't seem to get OUR side heard anywhere in the media, so that the average person hears it, and understands it. Fox News tries, but they wuss out and they're also largely preaching to the choir.
Honestly, the fact that the Democratic party, or La Raza, or whomever, has so much clout and money is very scary to me. And THEY think Repubs and Conservatives are the ones with all the clout and money.
Has the whole Congress totally lost it's mind? or it's guts to stand up?
AARRGHHH?!@#$!?

Immigration Reform is definitely growing as a very important issue to voters. An AP poll said it was up by a factor of 4 from just January to March in the number of Americans listing it as the top issue facing America. The demonstrations only give the issue more visibility, and that's great!
Also Democratic leaders like Howard Dean and Senators Kennedy & Clinton are facing a potential rebellion from their Democratic base as they keep pushing Amnesty! So I say the more demonstrations the better.
Arizona GOP pushing tough, new border policies, but faces strong...
