    Hey guys you need to get to the thread about Kennedy. They are voting on a border bill and maybe trying to place the Dream Act and AG bill amendments into it.

    According to their 2006 annual report, La Raza spends about 86% of its income to support a grassroots movement. They spend the remainder for day to day business costs. Here is a thumbnail view of their financal expenditures for programs:

    EXPENSES - PROGRAM EXPENSES
    ======================
    Mission - $1,316,848
    Legislative advocacy -- $399,709
    Community Development and Housing — $4,958,696
    Education Activities— $5,160,562
    Strategic Communications Group/Special Events — $6,958,697
    Special and International Projects — $2,362,355
    Institute for Hispanic Health — $1,711,937
    Office of Research, Advocacy, and Legislation — $3,574,156
    Raza Development Fund-Program Operations — $2,541,765
    Raza Development Fund-Loan Losses — $1,325,663
    TOTAL PROGRAM SERVICES — $30,310,388

    You might be able to find more specifics via Google. Form 990 is the big source of information for your original question, though. Start at page 31...I am not 100% sure, but that looks like it may be an itemized list of what they donated to other organizations.

    This is a joke! They need to stop stuffing bills together!!! They go no where! It is a shady act to cover up truths in there bills by offering this if we get that! Lets take each issue one at a time!!!

    Good research thanks. I wonder if there is any way to drain some of those funds through law suits.
