NCLR URGES CONGRESS TO PASS A STIMULUS BILL THAT REACHES ALL WORKERS

Washington, DC—The National Council of La Raza (NCLR), the largest national Hispanic civil rights and advocacy organization in the United States, today urged Congress to pass a stimulus bill that would make a real difference for the nation’s 22 million Latino workers.

“Latinos want to work. Safe jobs that provide decent wages and benefits are vitally important to our community,â€

All can they say "immigrant and U.S. citizen", when La Raza doesn't speak or represent "immigrant and U.S. citizen".

    a flawed employment verification system.
Janet MurguÃ*a, name one American or legal residnet that has been refused a job because of the E-Verify system. Show me the person and quit telling lies.!!!!!!!!

    1. LaRaza LOVES to distort the differance between Latino's and an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT

    2. There are other ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS other than LATINO ... how selfish can one race be to look out for the RACE and to H E double tooth picks for every one else

    3. NO THANK YOU... you want me to pay future taxes on any stimulis package to put money in an ILLEGAL ALIENS POCKET

austa la BYE~BYE to the Illegal Alien Invasion ... it is LONG past time for you to go back home

that's right NCLR, E-Verify spots illegal immigrants very very well and yes it is also true that 80%, or thereabouts, are actually Hispanics. Sorry Janet Murguia. How can facts be a bad thing?
Another fact is that E-Verify is 99.6% accurate and no it doesn't discriminate against legal latinos and any other ethnic group for that matter. I am half Greek and half French and I say to you, ca suffit! Transalation : ya basta!

Question Janet Murguia mi amor. How many of those 22 million Hispanics are actually legal? Because there aren't 22 million latinos here legally that are allowed to work.

There are about 43 million Hispanics (legal or illegal, census does not ask citizenship status) so if you do the math, she could very well be referring to the Americans of Hispanic decent. It's a long stretch but it could very well be a possibility for once.

Murguia is not one of my most favorite people. And again, she lumps all Latinos (legal and illegal) into one group. This has been an insult to the legal Latinos to no end. Perhaps this largest anger comes from the Latino-American citizens, who went through getting naturalized.
And we should have a Supreme Court review of the anchor baby amendment.
LaRaza apparently has a radio show in the local area here as there is a truck driving up and down our major roadways advertising this on a daily basis.

Ok then lets talk about German Americans and yes Janet they are teh largest ethnic group in teh US and no we don't speak German and no we don't wear ledderhozens (oops spelling someone help!) and a funny feather in a hat. Meaning they assimilated and theri influence on the American culture is not overwhleming! So tell those you say you represent to also assimilate/integrate etc (doesnt mean you cant speak Spanish and watch Univision) learn English and become Americans like teh rest of us. This country is not going to be Hispanized. It didnt get Germanized. GET THE MESSAGE?

NCLR say they represent 45 million Hispanics (you know that tehy strectch it and include illegals)

Now if you really had 22 million legal Hispanic workers how many actually Hisapnics would there be in teh United States, including parents, kids, grandparents, extended family who dont work etc. We are always told that they have so many more kids than anglos and that is one of the reasons that their population has exploded. (it has because of unbelievable illegal immigration by the way).

So can anybody offer an extrapolated number of total Hispanics starting from 22 million workers?
