    Never so disgusted...

Today, I have taken a hard look around me. I see all the strife, contentions, anger, and hate. I can truly say to myself, I saw this coming 20 years ago and did nothing. Like everybody else around me waiting on the next guy to jump up I would join. Well as we know, nobody did. Some of the knowledge I was entrusted with and then later gained went to waste. To me, its like waiting to have a car accident. Only to react after the damage has occurred.

For several days now, I have revisited the knowledge I have and really have a deep guilt feeling come over me. I may have not made the difference, but if I could have steered one away that would have done it. I am watching the potential destruction of my beloved country with apathy from my countrymen just sitting on their duffs. Everybody talks a good game until it comes your turn to bat.

I have been for the last 30 years, always thought outside the box. Now, I guess that is considered hard liner right wing or ultrconservative. Seems like every year they stick another title on you. But never in my life have I ran with pack. I do not like people that try to control my thoughts or opinions. That is why I love this country. But considering the PAC here for the most part I enjoy sincerely. And with every group you do have the occasional head butt brush it off and keep going.

The way this country is going, each one must fight to finish the race. Even though sometimes it feels like your slamming on the brakes and holding on for dear life. I was told by someone here something that made me feel horribly ashamed of the weapon I was given so many years ago and had not used it. Can't remember word for word the exact wording, but it had something to do about sandbags. And that if we fail, because we are filling sandbags to keep the water out, then we will be the first to drown. The awakening that happened beacuse this person caused a door to be opened that had long since closed. And for that I am truly thankful. I don't know him or his age, but one of my shortcomings is I tend to think a younger generation a dumber that a box of rocks.

I am truly in admiration of some of the people here in this group. For some of you I had given up hope on a younger generation even to the point of fear.

I know this has nothing to do with nothing, but just had the feeling to jot some things down. I hope you won't mind.

    JEFF

Glad you felt secure enough to share your feelings. That sometimes helps and readies us to fill back up again and fight another day.

Our Kids are something! Aren't they? Courageous and determined. Critical thinkers which is exciting!

Hey, none of us can throw stones, LOL, we each have our pain in the neck times, don't we. Especially when we're so tired and have focused with such intensity.

Now, YOU sit back up and get ready for the next battle, cause, JEFF, you know the next one is right around the corner.

FYI, I've been at this {on and off} for some years now. I can tell you that we've hit critical mass and it's now or never. Each one of us counts in this battle for our nation. Something tells me that this gang is one we can count on.

    PERK UP KIDDO!!

OH! BTW.........the folks filling those sand bags you mentioned?

The key for you to remember so that you aren't filled with fear is this: I'm 37 years old, love my country and I am not afraid to die I already proved that by volunteering for active duty in the Army for four years of my life. Many out there are too fearful to join the military - and for good reason. I nearly lost my life as a bullet grazed my stomach area.

The only alternative to death, in some cases, is a horrifying life of torture, abuse and belittling comments. Hell on Earth. There are times which are certain to arise where death is welcomed without reservation. Our founding forefathers chose it over the alternative and because of that choice, they won the freedoms many have enjoyed thus far. They probably didn't know this country would become what it did, for as they were fighting - to them all was already loss. But though many never survived to see it, their bravery paved a glorious road for all their posterity.

Have faith JustJeffUs - know that there are some of us out here who already have very heavy plans in the waiting - just that we are forbidden to talk about them. The point is - your country has more defense than you may have ever thought possible.

    It is not too Late

We can all make a difference by voting, writing to our elected officials, attending rallys, faxing and emailing our elected officials. We can also support organizations that are like minded.

We all see and learn something new everyday. You aren't the only one that saw and expected someone else to be older or smarter or wiser to do it. It never quite managed to be in OUR hands quite yet. Now it is. Scares the hell out of me. I watched....just like you and right now I feel totally helpless as to what to do to really FIX it. I just hang on and beleive all the little things I was taught to beleive. Just got done having a big blow out with my husband where he said we were all pissing in the wind and that the damage was already done and there was NOTHING left to do.......I wholeheartedly disagree. I guess we'll just have to wait to see who was right. The fat lady hasn't sung yet.

Cheer up Jeff, we haven't lost our country yet. Many of us are in this fight to the end. More people everyday are waking up to the fact that most of our elected officials are selling out our country. WE MUST stand firm in our convictions. WE MUST do whatever we can to stop the sell-out.
WE MUST remember that our founding fathers wrote some powerful things into our Constitution so that we could oust exactly the kind of people who we see in so many elected offices today.

There's a saying that "People get the kind of government they deserve"
(unfortunately I don't recall who originally made that statement), and that is quite true. So now we have the kind of government (actually, it's not the government, it's the people IN the government) we deserve because we did not remain viglant. BUT THAT CAN CHANGE.

We can change the way things are going. We can take back our country.
I'm a staunch conservative who has been interested in politics and its ramifications almost all my life. I have seen our nation become a welfare state and I've seen it turn towards socialism. Now I see it turning towards globalization. I've seen men I thought were pro-America (Bush and Specter, to name a couple) turn into peapod people. I guess I was asleep at the wheel, too. BUT THIS TOO SHALL CHANGE.

Let's take back our country. Let's stop putting so much time into planning our next vacation or our next automobile purchase, and let's instead put more time into watching the ACTIONS of those who would run for office. Let's teach anyone who will listen that VIGILANCE is not a burden -- it's a duty.

We haven't lost our country yet, but it is on the very brink. Amnesty, guest workers, globalization, open borders ... they all lead to destruction of America. I won't stand for it.

Hang together or we hang alone.

I enjoyed reading this. Thank you for sharing.

Perhaps the older we get, the more we realize how unstable and dangerous the world really is.

I'll tell you what. Younger generations will always disappoint you with their stupidity, but many of them will also eventually grow out of it. I know I did.

And I am not going to let my country be overrun by imbeciles and ingrates.

I enjoy seeing so many strangers pull together as American citizens united as one, but I hate how it takes tragedy to bring it about (same thing happened on 9/11).

Complacency is so fun, but just as dangerous.

Eh... things will get better. We won't let each other down. America is great because of its people's ability to do great things -not because of politicians and talk show hosts.

You have said what I have been feeling as well. Thank you. I tried to do something about the ilegal alien in 1994 by voting for Prop. 187. When the Fedral courts overturned the voted in prop. I'm sorry to say I lost my faith in our policital system. But after seeing the protests I just had to get involved and will make my vote count as it did in 1994. Hang in there. Look how many of us feel the same as you do. Large number, right?

That was a good thing... Welcome to the fight ! people are coming for you. They are coming for your job, they are coming for your land, they are coming for your bank account (through taxes). They are coming for your country.

And everyone who gets in here, is going to send the signal to TEN OTHERS to come on in, and they each will send the signals to TEN OTHERS of their friends.

So in few generations, the Illegal Wave goes from 1 to 10 to 100 to 1000. We don't make this up. We don't want to, but beyond this - these people are on record. They WANT your property and they will wait

UNTIL THEY HAVE STRENGTH IN NUMBERS

before they try anything really serious

So their FIRST BATTLE is a battle to get AS MANY MILLIONS AS THEY CAN, INTO THIS LAND.
THEN, they will begin the phases where they act with those numbers

It is not too late to get involved, and as others have said we STILL have a country. We CANNOT WAIT for the Polticians to Lead,

and when most of them DO lead, it will ONLY BE to SELL US OUT !

This is a very LONG battle. There is a GREAT deal to do. and Much of that is helping others realize what you know and realize. No one person can do it by themselves. THe posts that are helpful to one person may not be helpful to another.

Everyone Who IS Interested CAN make a difference.

And this Board is only ONE of the ways that PROVE this.

    GH
Let's be brutally honest: THe Only thing that matters is when you force Politicians to STOP and PAY Attention to You. Its time to think about ways to do that.

    Bearpaw,
I tried to warn my friends and family in 1991 about this mess and was insulted for doing so. Now I have to listen to the same friends and family complain about this issue. What really hurts is that none of them remember what I said in '91.
