Thread: Never so disgusted...

The thing that counts is that we're together as one now

I have not exactly been active except on a local level until the internet came along.

However, I have been preaching to the locals and complaining since early 80's - and all the time since then.

It is encouraging to see some waking up - but then something happens that makes me wonder.

Our 1st grade grandson had a school play today. WE thought it was 1 O'clock - but was 2 so we had a hour to kill. WE had passed a couple of garage sales - can't resist - so we stopped at one of them.

There was an illegal couple, with 2 small children there. The two ladies having the sale - 60ish, were simply fawning over them and their children. Now the children were cute - not a doubt. Their demeanor to the children, however, was excessive and was disgusting.

I could never be ugly to a child and don't propose than anyone else should be - but to fawn and grovel just to try to show just how politically correct you are is just sickening.

This is in a town that is fast becoming a Mexican town.

By the way, this couple of 'poor, downtrodden, - just looking for a better life' got into a brand new pickup that cost 30K if it cost a dollar.
