I agree with tinybob, they aren't going to give us anything. They'll just blow a lot of smoke and wiggle the mirrors.

This is just a ploy to try to make us believe they are serious about border security. If they were really serious, they would follow through with enforcement of all existing immigration laws instead of holding the American people hostage!!!!

New tidbit from Dana Bash on CNN. She said the Senators really hit home with the president that this bill would not do what it should do and it was too much like the 1986 amnesty bill.

I like that. Good for those Senators!!!

you think they drove home to Bush that WE THE PEOPLE are P.O.'d about this?

According to Duncan Hunter, they have already received 1 billion dollars and it is just sitting up there for the more than 300 miles of the fence, then after they finished that they would be funded for the rest of the fence that is already a law to build.
Altogether it is over 800 mile of fence. they have only built 11 miles, so it is all excuses and we are going to hear more of them because they are not doing their job nor do they want to!! So they will have to be forced, when they get tired of hearing from us they will build the fence!! They have all the tooLs they need THE MONEY!! BUILD THE FENCE CHERTOFF!!!
