See the LIE?
Does anyone else see what I see? Fake poll is out. Chertoff and Bush are talking tough. They are setting up the stick to push people into the Guest Worker registration program.
They will have fewer illegal aliens to chase once they legalize the majority of them. I think this is a horse and pony show. Promise a crack down to pass the guest worker. After that, a crackdown will be useless.
Tell me what you see happening here people. What do you see?

You have hit the nail on the head. Isn't there some way that we can get the word out that this is a misleading push poll prepared by a Democrat working for the American Immigration Lawyers Association? There must be an effective way to accomplish it without seeming to have lost our cool.
I support enforcement and see its lack as bad for the 3rd World as well. Remittances are now mostly spent on consumption not production assets. Join our efforts to Secure America's Borders and End Illegal Immigration by Joining ALIPAC's E-Mail Alerts network (CLICK HERE)

can't fault them for trying
Well I can't fault tthem for trying, but in fact anything that will deflect pressure from themselves and continue the ongoing rip off of law abiding Americans is what these people will do.
With any luck the Fitzzgerald indictments come this week, and bushs' solid ground turns to sand. WE can only hope.
By now it must be clear that there is nothing within the realm of shame or honor that these people will not defecate upon. They are working for small minorities, and our voices will have to be steeled with some real action, things like indictments and removal, before we can properly turn the tide.
Their statements mean nothing. DO YOU STILL TRUST?
I used to stay to people I wouldn't let clinton walk my dog(for obvious reasons). This group I would not let swat flies on my property. C' mon people, they are grasping at straws, DO THEM IN!! cheers glenn

Dog and pony show, W....
I started a thread back a few months ago at SOS titled "predicting the moves of schemers". Although it was to encourage others to out think those who would try to flank the MMP volunteers, it has a rather generic appeal in that regard. The Bush camp is devious as hell, and if what you propose is true, we are already being victimized by it. We have to get devious William. We cannot sit on the high ground forever and take fire from underneath, and from above. But deviousness doesn't necessarily mean you have to sacrifice your American principles. Strategizing is an important part of warfare. The problem with groups like Alipac, SOS, and others is that we don't gather in a war room and flesh out plans to counter the enemies'. It would seem from your post, that our competition does exactly that. If there was a meeting of allies like a summit or something in which we chose delegates, theater commanders and structure, we might be able to make a serious dent in our counterparts plans. As it sits right now, we have only the ability to react to their actions. I'd sure like to be on the supplying end to a strategy cooked up amongst east and western US patriot groups that caused the Neo Cons or the demo libs to scatter their resources every few weeks to figure out why their strategy wasn't working, or to find out who or what was behind the latest round of recall elections. It will not be enough to send a letter. We will have to march on washington and dictate terms in the white house

Exactly right. This is more 'sound good' fake talk that they will now even try to twist 'Border Security' into having an 'open Border' and "guest-workers" ----it's being said already -"the way to provide Border security is to be sure there is a safe and orderly path for "workers" because as you know economic security is National security which depends on immigrant (illegal Alien) labor". This is effectively what Ted Kennedy said today and John Cornyn said back in May.
They want it both ways - because the Corporate $$$$$ wants it --- which means exactly the same way it is now. Don't believe them - their "solution" (guest-worker bill) will do nothing and likely make things worse. This nonsense mashing of words means NOTHING but selling the American People crap.
Remember- Bush, Cherthoff and Condi Rice all have signed on to 'North American Community' initiative that will merge the 3 NAFTA Nations with NO Borders. See www.spp.gov

AyatollahGondola,
We have a plan. The plan is to try and stop this Congress and the President from doing to much damage before the next election cycle.
They know the public is awakening and those responsible for this invasion want to make their dirty deeds legally Fait Accompli before the next election.
Our plan to try and stop or stall them. Should we fail at that, we need to make it hurt as much as possible.
Then, in 2006 the plan is to change leadership.

I didn't fall for it either, but if you watched Lou Dobbs today he sounded like he believed it.
I think we should fire off some letters to Lou today.

I know there is a general plan W. They know our plan though. They don't seem to fear it. I propose we need a scheme, or plural I should say. I hate sitting around here trying to counter Bush's already engaged mechanism of monopoly after the fact. If the decision to go to wars, the treaties enacted, and the constitutional protections legislated away, of years past serve as any example of congress being any hope of our salvation in the face of a determined president, I am the one that fears our plan.
We need our own arm of the CIA supported by all associated groups, and a room full of planners to act on that info. We need maps on the walls, telephone banks, and a wallet full of donations from people who are tired of watching the countryside gentrified. We need our own allied newsreals distributed to every state, and we need mostly, a series of traps laid for all those OBL people to step into and cripple their effort to secure their dastardly ambitions. If they fear a political or economic minefield, they will slow down their advance. Then the congressional prodding might have a chanceIt will not be enough to send a letter. We will have to march on washington and dictate terms in the white house

My choice is going to be whatever you guys decide. I WANT to believe this, but if you guys think that believing it means falling into another "trap", then by golly, I WON'T believe it. It's just another cruel trick, isn't it?
