We've seen how easily the illegal crowd obeys their leaders and their Spanish media as to what to wear, what flags to carry, what songs to sing etc.

This past week radical separatist groups have been emailing some very dangerous messages. I can vouch for that personally as I am on a few of THEIR mailing lists. I don't even want to tell you details of what they're sending out, but please be careful on May 1st and just stay far away from the rallies. Do shopping that doesn't put you in the path of the march! Don't let your kids hang out to watch the marches either. Discretion is the better part of valor.

Don't even think of protesting against them directly. Let's not go there. Or at least I wouldn't.

Have you contacted anyone about this? If this puts the public in danger you have a duty to report it. To media, Police, and others. Just don't sit on it and wait...

By the way, even though I guarantee you I'm NOT burned out by any means, I think I am going to take you up on the advice you offered to me. I'm taking the weekend off from my activities here to spend some time with my family and then to rest up to watch what happens on May 1st.

Like everyone else, I hope and pray that it is uneventful and no violence is experienced from either side.

I've pretty much done all I felt I wanted to do in attempting to stimulate thought and to raise awareness of some frightening facts. My personal goal in life when it comes to politics and lack of action is mainly to teach others how to sift, analyze and make educated judgements on their own in which ways to take action on a myriad of topics... illegal immigration being the largest pet peve for me.

With luck, I'll be visiting occasionally following Monday's "extravaganza".

Everyone who 'follows' these groups knows what I know, and certainly knows it before I do. I'm not the only 'gringo' who snuck into their mailing lists.

Then how about common sense?
We can't fight if we aren't here to fight and since I live in one of those towns where even the hispanics are afraid to mingle with the people spurred by professional agitators, it is my opinion that JustSayNo is talking a lot of common sense.

OK now this thread concerns me more then Most. As I read it I agree that it is not smart to go looking for trouble. BUT then I think Hell this is MY Country and MY State and MY County and MY City. A real Bad feeling inside me starts to swell up in My stomach. These People whether Legal or Illegal Aliens are going to be marching down the streets in MY Nation and the Best thing I Can and Should do is stay out of thier way and allow them thier time and space so that they dont get angered and take it out on anyone or everyone they see with a disenting view. Its for my own health and personal safety that I allow them to now complete thier takeover of MY country. They will be the only ones seen by Our 535 chicken**** Leaders and President. The press will only focus on them. If trouble starts it will be the Fault of those that might be Counter Protesting that will be considered at fault and responsible for any Damages and Harm. So this says to me that They in a sense have already Won. 11 to 20 million Mainly Illegal Aliens have more or less taken over MY country and for fear of possible bodily harm or maybe being considered an aggitator I must stay away and allow it. Hell they mostlikely will be singing that New Trash song of theres that they feel we should in some way accept . Well I must work that day as I am not far from haveing to close my business down. I will not attempt to confront them BUT I'm to darn old to be making special trips arround them. Its still MY Country, MY State, MY County, MY City, MY HOME.

BldHnd, I understand your concern. But they shot themselves in the foot once already with the Mexican flag waving ceremony. Even their own financial backing turned on them. And I found out last night that some of their own people turned against them as a result because those people treasure the naturalization process that made them Americans. I think the "protesters" deserve a shot at their other foot.

On the other hand, if we disrupt their plan to poop in their own beds again, it makes us the bad guy. You have to realize that delicate balance still exists as to whether the rest of the country sees them as "victims" or aggressors. I'm hoping that LA crew makes good on thier threats and the national guard gets called to their little fiesta!

I'm not for citizens rallying in the streets for several reasons. When the Minutemen -- citizens of this country -- went to the border our President called them 'vigilantes' -- when these illegals started terrorizing citizens with their threats in the streets our President said nothing.

my mama and daddy always taught us to give somebody enough rope and they will hang themselves -- the illegals, GW and the Senate now have a very long rope.

If citizens start taking to the streets I'm afraid GW will declare martial law to control the 'insurgents' and 'rebels' (that's us) -- and that is NOT something we do not want done.

while these lawless people demonstrate in our streets, the eyes of the world will be on GWB -- they will want to see what he will do in his 'fight on terror' ....

let them have May 1 -- what we need to do is contact the local tv channels and contact all our friends and families so they can SEE what is going on, use May 1 as an awareness day -- THEN on May 2, May 3, May 4 and May 5 -- Congress can be bombarded by LAWFUL citizens

we don't want street fights and we don't need citizens getting hurt
