Our No Stimulus Petition Strikes a Chord With Americans

Our NoStimulus.com Web site and petition has caught fire, with an unprecedented tidal wave of grassroots outrage.

More than 350,000 Americans have signed the petiton, with the bulk of the signatures (300,000) coming in over just the last two days.

On Monday interest in our petition was so high that traffic crashed our server.

We were back up with three servers just two hours later but those were overtaxed and knocked out in just five minutes! We now have 10 servers at our disposal and things seems to be holding.

The Capitol switchboard at 202-224-3121 is jammed as well. As I wrote Monday in the FOX Forum, this is far from over. Keep up the fight!

This Fight Is Not Over

The Senate mustered 61 votes to squeak through the Collins/Nelson amendment, better known as the “compromiseâ€

Not to be too depressed here but I do not see our elected officials making a good call on anything, it may take a 5 day nationwide strike or stay at home party for the elite to listen, the truth is it will take great sacrifice to regain our country.

Old guy, I agree, but if it gets out in the news that millions of people signed a petition against this bill - then it won't seem like such a "slam dunk" for Obama and his team.

In the meantime we actually might turn a few votes with the pressure of knowing they soon will be in the unemployment line.

All we can do is try!

When I first got wind of this petition and signed it there were 386, 841

Now there are 389,549

That means that in 58 minutes an additional 2,708 people have signed the petition.
That is 46.6 per minute or almost one per second.

Currently there have now been 450,004 who have signed the petition.
That is an additional 63,163 over the last day. We just need 50K more and will have 500K signatures.
Please help spread the word. If you take the 63,159 and figure our how many that is per minute it comes to around 44 signatures a minute over a period of 24 hours - which is really good when you think 8 hours of that is "sleeping time" for most.
