    fo·ment

    1. To promote the growth of; incite.
    2. To treat (the skin, for example) by fomentation.

[Middle English fomenten, to apply warm liquids to the skin, from Old French fomenter, from Late Latin fmentre, from Latin fmentum, poultice, from fovre, to warm. See dhegwh- in Indo-European Roots.]

and my name isn't slyvia and I don't speak spanish (but babelfish does, and some of it was written poorly in the translation so I cleaned it up)

I KNEW there was support among the legal immigrants and American latinos. I haven't been able to find the latino Aol becase I'm not an AOL cmember anymore.

Yeah they have had that section on Immigration for a while. I have complained big time. That the English speaking people should have a section on Immigration. Oh but look who Time Warner/AOL support.

Just in case all wants to e-mail AOL on why there is not a section like this in the English Language. What are they trying to hide? Here is there Corporate contact info.

Many Posts for OUR side on AOL Latino en español

Actually, Scuba, the majority of what I'm reading on this Spanish language board is for OUR side! I was floored to read this stuff. I'd be happy to bring some of it over and translate if anyone is interested in that.

And some of the posts are in English.(these seem to be American or legal bilinguals who post in either or both languages).

There is also an English version of AOL latino that one is offered as there are many American Latinos who do not speak any Spanish.

I don't know if there is a board exactly the same as this "immigration" board on the English version of AOL Latino. You seem to know your way around alot better that I do so if you find one, could you let me know?

The aol board that William called all of us over to is about immigration

    https://www.alipac.us/ftopict-16079.html

and it is just on the regular aol boards, and you don't have to be a subscriber to aol to post. you can get a free AIM screenname and post there. Whereas, I had to sign up for AOL (a paid account) to post on AOL Latino.

Come on over and help us! Some posters are only using English, tho they understand the Spanish so they can respond. My husbands username is Gordosilva, and mine is Silvaalvaradoden. If you have any problems, I'll be happy to translate for you. Just post the piece in question over here,(short post) and I'll tell you what it says.

Consider that there are advantages to US that AOL is putting up its news articles in Spanish too. I read all the local Spanish papers here and rarely does there appear anything negative about illegals, (well, most of the stories are reprints form Mexican news services anyway). But AOL Latino does post the stories about crime, child porn trafficing, and etc.

Also, as you will see on the posts by my husband and I, we are trying to channel some of the people WHO ARE ANTI-ILLEGALS, over to ALIPAC, and LAIR, where they can join our efforts. (IF THEY ARE A NOT ALREADY HERE!! THE JOKE MAY BE ON ME!!) Harnessing this resource is important and to OUR benefit. I hope we can get some of them to the "Rumble at the Ranch"

.Yeah I know, but the fact is that AOL is not putting this stuff out for the English Speakers. You can't find but maybe one Article every 6 months. There silent to the Majority
