ProudAmericanFamily, I know you won't get a glimpse at the CBS evening news for a few hours yet, but they just covered an exclusive news release that Kennedy and Graham (along with a small group of co-conspirators) have hammered out a compromise bill with the White House participating in a secret committee. The House has agreed to go along if the Senate approves it and shortly we will be trying to digest an amnesty for the illegals. Graham was filmed stating that if this bill was not passed the Congress would not touch the issue for several years because it was too hot to handle amid a presidential election. Man, I hate that guy!!!!What a piece of human garbage! Time to pray!!!

Thanks for letting me know. I had NO idea.
I am still in the afternoon here. I have been switching back and forth between the Senate (wherever they dissappeared to today) and Fox news. As usual, I have to come to this board to find out what is going on.

I feel sick.
They KNOW this is a dirty peice of work!
They KNOW the American people do not want this!
That is why they are trying to ram it past us and into law.
I WILL be praying for our country until this is resolved!

The counter on the petition has slowed to a virtual crawl over the last several days. How dissapointing to see so few people speaking for their nation! I know a lot of folks who see petitions as a waste of time, because they feel they will not influence the parties to whom they are addressed. I have pointed out that when large numbers sign the petition it indeed does draw attention to it's message and the ramifications of ignoring the message for the recipient. I pray more folks will contribute to this cause than are making themselves heard at this moment in time...Although 132,000 plus people is nothing to sneeze at, 1,000,000 is the target and we are missing the mark people!
