    Petsmart, The unsafe haven.

A friend of mine who works at petsmart has recently brought to my attention that the major corporation that sells animal supplies aswell as animals have been for the longest time in affliation with Rainbow World Exotics, an animal mill located in Hamilton TX that has hundreds of abuse and poor animal treatment alligations agaisnt them. Rainbow World Exotics has illegal aliens from Mexico working in the warehouse where these animals are, my friend has told me that the people from this place who bring the shipment of guinea pigs and birds to his job do not speak an ounce of english. I have seen on youtube videos recorded by undercover PETA investigators showing the horrible horrible atrocities these animals are going through and the people "caring" for them are infact non english speaking hispanics that are probably illegal aliens. The thought comes to mind that Mexico being notorious for no respect to animals with all the dog fighting and cock fighting, it wouldnt shock me that this is true. I am going to boycott Petsmart and support my local small business pet shops from now on and would hope and suggest you do the same.

I think supporting all local, small businesses is a good practice, as well as insisting on American made products made by Americans.

I avoid large pet stores and buy catfood and cat litter at Target as it is cheaper there and the store is closer. When It comes to the bird it's food and supplies come from a small business that specializes in birds only.

Unforunately, not speaking English does not necessarily mean a person is an illegal alien. To my knowledge, you must be able to converse in English at an eight grade level for citizenship, but not legal residency.

It's kinda sad that alot of people dont know this kind of stuff goes on. There is much more things that illegal's do then just drain our tax money and live off the system and murder people. There is alot of shut eyes behind closed doors, its amazing how much major corporations like Petsmart and Walmart hang signs up in their stores talking about "family" and caring for their customers. They just lie and its all for money and they know it. I used to work in retail at walmart when I was 19 ..almost 3 years ago, and well they had a "policy" at the particular store I worked at where you didnt even need proof of an ID or birth certificate to get hired, at the time I didnt have mine because I was waiting for them in the mail and Walmart hired me anyways, which really did shock me considering every other place I had applied at, denied me for that reason. I would go into the interview and they would ask me when I could come in then ask for my ID and thats when I said I didnt have it and they sent me packing. Walmart however, is deliberatley letting people without proof of documentation work in their stores, I can't say all walmarts do this but I'm sure alot of them do. I quit my job there after a month because the work environment was crap, and got another job elsewhere since I had my documents by then.

More people should be aware of this kind of corporate B.S that has taken over the U.S

Yes that's true, but how about when they speak no english at all? To come to the united states as a legal citizen you have to know at least basic english..Animal mills and corporate farms are known to hire illegals. Also, Id like to add that an 8th grade level of english is practially fluent. When I was in the 8th grade, heck even the 6th grade, I talked no differently then how I talk today in my 20's with the exception that I've matured more. It isn't hard to tell when someone knows nothing in english, my friend had told me when the people took the guinea pigs off the shipment truck they immediatley started up in spanish and nobody at his store even speak spanish.

I'm on your side and also believe the workers could be illegal aliens. However, it's wrong to make that assumption based on their failure to speak English in the workplace. Legal residents (not citizens) and folks working under a visa are not required to possess the ability to speak English.

What?! well, I learn something everyday lol.
They should be required to speak english! Or at least be bilingual and be a little bit considerate to speak both languages where appropriate...Like, I can't see the need for speaking in spanish at an American workplace where none of the employees are speaking it..! Ohwell, I can only hope one day that we get a good president with a head on his shoulders to make english our national language.

God Help the innocent animals that just want to be loved.

The poor innocent animals are more human then the illegals.
