OBAMA PRIORITIES: Veterans Greeted With Barricades and Riot Police; Illegal Immigrants Welcomed with Open Arms

Now I ask you to step back and consider the priorities of President Obama:

IMMIGRATION RALLY ALLOWED ON MALL DESPITE SHUTDOWN


A week after World War II veterans struggled to gain access to a memorial on the National Mall due to the government's partial shutdown, thousands of people pushing for a new immigration law have been cleared by the government to proceed with a concert and rally Tuesday on the Mall.

The march, dubbed the "Camino Americano", or "American Road," is hosted by groups including the Service Employees International Union and Casa de Maryland...

..."It's bad enough watching these marches when we watch illegal aliens breaking our laws. Now they're being given free range on these public parks while we've seen the greatest generation military vets being turned away from their sacred memorials," said Bob Dane, a spokesman for the Federation for American Immigration Reform, a group that opposes proposals in Congress to legalize the nation's undocumented immigrants. "It's offensive and it shows where their loyalties lie."

This administration appears to be something unique in American history. It continually flouts Constitutional limits, rewrites individual laws, defies American traditions, and undermines Judeo-Christian morals.

We have never seen its likes before and it could well take a miracle for the civil society to survive it.

Palin: “We Were Met by a SWAT Team in Full Riot Gear”

We were proud to stand with thousands of America’s vets and other patriotic Americans today in Washington, D.C. This morning, Todd and I met with Senators Ted Cruz and Mike Lee, and they joined us and other Americans at the World War II Memorial and then at the Lincoln Memorial, where we were met by a SWAT team in full riot gear! Watching those who have fought to protect freedom prevented by barricades from visiting these memorials to freedom was truly heart wrenching. Seeing the unity of the American people as they joined together and rose up against this out of touch government was an inspiration. God bless our veterans, those who continue to serve, and their families.
I’ll be posting an album of some photos from today. Below are the brief remarks I gave today:
We’re here to show that the size of America’s heart for our veterans is immeasurable! But look around – barricades to shut down our memorials? Is this how a Commander in Chief expresses his gratitude? This “shutdown” priority proves a shameful lack of respect. It reflects a person’s lack of valor.
But, Vets, We the People have learned from you! We know America will only remain the “Home of the Free” so long as we are the “Home of the Brave!”
So, as we honor you, U.S. Military, know that our gratitude will not sleep! We will be brave! You were not timid, so we shall not be timid in calling out ANY who heart-wrenchingly would use you as pawns in a political game.
America’s finest paid the price for our freedom today. Vets, you protected us from tyranny then. Rest now, it is OUR turn to protect against tyranny again.
Ronald Reagan said, “Some people live an entire lifetime wondering if they ever made a difference in the world.” YOU, vets, need never ask that of yourselves. You made ALL the difference!
Our war memorials remind us of the cost to keep us free. YOU paid the price! Rest now! We will pick up the mantle. We won’t let you down. We now take up the fight for freedom! ~Sarah Palin

Let Us Never Forget – Oct.13th,2013 – The Day America Screamed : WE THE PEOPLE ARE BACK

Today America witnessed a piece of history unfold before their eyes, unfortunately no one will ever know about because the press dismissed it and never covered it. I am talking about the Million Vet March on DC.
Today’s march organized by veterans for veterans to reclaim their right to visit open air memorials that they mostly funded themselves and in some cases maintain privately but were closed down by the Obama Administration because of the government shutdown. They were also there to voice their opinions on how unhappy they are with everything that is going on with our government right now.
These were WWII vets, Korean War vets, Vietnam vets, Gulf War vets, yes basically veterans of all wars and conflicts. They were joined by the Truckers, Bikers, politicians and yes, even everyday citizens from all walks of life and they all marched peacefully.

The veterans got there and tore down the barricades the President had erected to keep them out of their monuments starting with the WWII monument, that THEY paid for with their own money and maintain with THEIR own money. They then moved on to places like the Lincoln Memorial, Washington monument and so on, all very peacefully but vocal.
Then some veterans went on to carry some of the barricades to the final stop, the White House. They proceeded to just stack them up outside the fence, to tell the president this is what WE the Veterans have to say about your barricades !!! Take your Barrycades and shove it !

I can not tell you how proud I am of all these American heroes & patriots who came and tried to make their voice heard today. It shows me and hopefully you, that Americans still care about this country and what happens to it. These are people who answered the call to serve their nation with pride and dignity and put themselves in harms way so we could all be free. God Bless You ALL !!!
Unfortunately the press didn’t see it that way and basically ignored the entire event andCNN even went as far as say they were just a bunch of TEA PARTY KOOKS and even called some of the people attending racist for protesting the President. HOW DARE YOU !!!
You are the media and you are supposed to cover the news and report on it UNBIASED. You are not supposed to take sides, your job is to report the news. Welcome to state run media America !!! Our founding fathers and deceased REAL reporters are rolling in their graves over how the media has changed for the worst.
I think Todd Starnes, of FOX News, said it the best today regarding the media coverage, “the lack of coverage is another sad day for journalism.” I completely agree.
So I ask you all to please let your kids know what happened today and tell them to tell their kids and keep this alive for generations to come because you will not see this covered on the news. It will not be in our history books because the media and government will never let it happen. So it is up to us to remember these great American Patriots and what they did today and how they stood up for out great nation.
Always remember October 13th, 2013 as the day America came to Washington to say in one voice that, WE THE PEOPLE ARE BACK !!!
